You need to free 2 GB additional disk space to install Smite.

*Note* This happens when Patches come out.

I've had this problem before and I deleted things and got it working. It said that I needed to free 3 GB before and it did again now. I deleted a lot of things and now it says 2 GB.

I had less things now than I did the first time I had to delete things. So shouldn't there already be free space for it? I deleted everything that I don't need and it still says to delete more. The only other things on my laptop are things I need. There has to be a way for it to allow me to update the patch. I'm sure there are other people with a lot more things on their laptops/computers and can update it.

This really shouldn't be an issue. It's getting very annoying that when every patch comes out, there seems to be a problem.

The prerequisites are being downloaded again, which has increased the download size of this patch by a lot.

Have you got enough space on your disk drive? Make sure you have a lot more than the game demands, since it won't be enough otherwise (for reasons I cannot explain).

Well I have 859 MB available out of 284 GB, but I can't delete anything else. The things that are on my laptop are things I need.

Thank you Alex for replying to my support ticket. I haven't thought about using the Smite on steam. I'll give it a try, but hopefully it'll work and won't have any issues. I've seen people make threads regarding problems with using Smite on steam.

Never mind, it seems I still can't use steam and download it. It still says I need more disk space, so I decided to just set my laptop to factory settings. That way I'll be able to start over and download it first.

Sorry for reviving this post from 2 years ago but I have a funnier problem... it says I need to "free 0 GB additional disk space".
This is a fresh game install on a fresh windows install and I have atleast 20GB free on each drives (windows and game install),
    any suggestions or fixes?
