Big FPS issues after Rat. Patch

I have noticed a few people saying they have had FPS Issues since the recent patch. wanted to add my voice to the chorus of people making this claim. Smite used to run comfortably at 60fps even in combat, now in arena the second I get into a teamfight my framerate drops to about 10 making it impossible to react. This is doubly frustrating as I finally have a weekend free to play MoTD which is arena based....

Ran a repair with the HiRez diagnostic tool? Usuaully stuff like this is caused by patch data not overwriting properly and conflicting

    Just done what you recommended.
I can't say whether it has improved the frame rate as I was booted from the match load screen and now cant get back onto the servers. Menu and loading lag showed little-no improvement however.

I was recommended to try the following:

1- get the latest drivers package for your video adapted from the manufacturer's website
    2- lower the video settings
    3- reset the config:

    a) Close out of Smite
    b) Using windows explorer, go to: C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\My Games\Smite\BattleGame\Config
    c) Delete the file BattleEngine.ini.
    d) Relaunch the game as administrator (right-click / run as admin)

4- Please try installing the game on your Windows system volume/drive and see if it improves the performance.

By HiRezJulien when i made a send a Support Ticket thing.

It personally made me lag less. but it didn't stop the lag. Im able to play games until the 10 minute mark which is where the lag starts to come back (My FPS drops from 150 to 30 and my ms goes from 6 to 30)

I hope this is able to help you

Delete game completely from your computer. Download the Smite installer and install the game. Game data tends to get corrupt or fragmented on patch days :I

I have lowered all settings to Minimum.
    I have reinstalled everything
Still my fps drops down to about 9 when i am in a team fight.
This is very, very frustrating, considering how much I've spent on gems.

I also have this problem. Lots of other people have this problem too. I've been posting on every thread related to this to try to bring it to Hi-Rez's attention.
