    Passive
    After using any ability, Athena's next basic attack is a ranged attack, hitting all enemies it passes through, and dealing 25% additional magical damage.

    Preemptive Strike
    1st Ability
    Athena powers up for a dash. While dashing, Athena will pass through minions and stop and hit the first enemy god she encounters, dealing 80/130/180/230/280 (+50% of your magical power) damage and slowing all she hits by 25% for 1.25/1.5/1.75/2.0/2.25s. If she hits an enemy, Athena gains one stack of Block (max 3), absorbing the next basic attack from any god that hits her.
    Cost: 60/70/80/90/100 mana.
    Cooldown: 15/14/13/12/11 seconds.

    Confound
    2nd Ability
    Athena releases a shockwave of power from her shield, taunting enemy gods, and forcing them to fight or chase her for 1.0/1.25/1.5/1.75/2.0s.
    Cost: 60/65/70/75/80 mana.
    Cooldown: 18 seconds.

    Shield Wall
    3rd Ability
    Athena summons a group of Athenian warriors who do 60/95/130/165/200 (+50% of your magical power) damage upon arrival, and after 2s strike for 80/150/220/290/360 (+50% of your magical power) damage.
    Cost: 60/65/70/75/80 mana.
    Cooldown: 14 seconds.

    Defender of Olympus
    Ultimate
    Athena picks a single allied god anywhere in the world, and launches herself up into the air, landing next to that god 4.2 seconds later. During that 4.2 seconds, the allied god mitigates 20% of the damage it's taking. Enemies in a 20 feet radius of when Athena lands take 350/450/550/650/750 (90% of your magical power) damage.
    Cost: 80/90/100/110/120 mana.
    Cooldown: 90 seconds.

    Taunt lasts too long in my opinion but apart from that she's balanced.

    A buff..... shes pretty solid ware she is hate the charge up on her dash but that's just me. more quailty of life change then anything.

    Athena is extremely fun to play, Sure the charge is annoying and sometimes because of it you can't get away from being killed, but that is what makes her harder to play. I'm a tank based player and Athena is the god for me ^^'. I created builds for my self as full defense, half defense and power, or full power (Omega slaughter for penta kill). There are really a Lot of possibility on how you can play her, and a lot of flexibility on what she can be, and I just love it :3

    There are only two complaints I have with Athena which I think should be changed/buffed.

    Her passive just doesn't sync with Athena's role as a guardian. Maybe as a bruiser, but Athena is more often used as a tank. It should be changed to something more fitting.

    The only other thing that bugs me is her charge attack, but not charging up in general, just the fact that nearly EVERYTHING can interrupt both the charging up AND the actual charge.

    And there is nothing wrong with taunt. Two seconds at the max level. You can buy items that reduce this, or even prevent it altogether.

    Her passive needs a change. It doesn't go well with her kit and role, and unless she builds damage, the damage it deals is insignificant. Another would be her damage. Her charge is fine, but her 3 does a lot. Her role is a Guardian, not a Mage yet she can deal damage to rival Mages. A lot of people say her damage is fine because you need to hit them twice for her 3, but a simple 3-2 combo can easily hit them twice.

    I agree with everyone else on the changing of the passive. I just don't like it as well. Maybe it can be like Ne Zha's passive, but instead of the health regen it should be like physical protection/magical protection or maybe hp. That's just my opinion though not sure if anyone else would agree.

    the passive is amazing.....i would never want to see that changed Tank or mage a lot of the time it allows me to get that last bit a damage needed if i am chasing somebody.

    2s at max level is basically equivalent to Ymir's 2.25s stun, so I'd say her CC is balanced in this respect. Taunt's the strongest CC in the game (acts as Silence and movement control at the same time) so I think her CC's fine.

    I'm indifferent to this charge problem because as an Athena player, I never have this problem unless I get outplayed (i.e. bodyblocked in front of charge, CCed, etc).

    Her passive doesn't promote Guardian-ing. It's a poke. It's a good passive if she builds mage or is forced to kill secure. Otherwise, it's pretty bleh. HOWEVER, Ymir's passive also doesn't promote this as it's bonus damage which promotes him building damage. Geb's passive promotes him fighting ADCs, Bacchus' is... Bacchus'. Promotes him building mage or tanky due to protections and mitigations. Hades' is... lol. Ares isn't even a true Guardian. EDIT: And Sobek's passive is trash. 15 protections. Wow. Much protections.

    It's a fine passive but should have higher base and reduced scaling to promote her building tonky. The damage it has as a full tank is the definition of insignificant. I'm all for her building magethena but she does have access to Polynomicon as the only Guardian with a ranged auto attack.

    How doesn't it go well with her kit? I use it for kill securing with Rod of Tahuti and Voidstone.

    3>2 combo burns her CC and her damage. Ymir can do a 3>2 combo and do a shitton of damage as well. If she doesn't net the kill, she's not getting another chance for a little bit. It's also easily telegraphed by her requiring to be close to you. Rule of thumb: If you're close to a Guardian, except to be immobile for brief periods of time. If you're close to a Guardian and their team, expect to die.
