    Well I feel that anubis is still relevant but while he does produce a metric ton of damage he can be countered and killed because of his stationary abilities.. at this point i wouldnt change him just because honestly his kit works. it can be challenging but i would say his damaging and life steal definitly aid in combating him being stationary. However on the same token i would say that game has evolved from the original design.

    If i were to change anything i would change just his 1 and his ult

    Plague of locus
    1st ability

    Anbuis sends out a Plague of locus in a line dealing 90/140/190/240/290 (+50% of your magical power) damage and dealing an extra 5 (+10% of your magical power) damage every .5s for 3s.

    For his Ult i would make it

    Scales of judgement
    ultimate

    Anubis weighs the enemy gods hearts against Ma'at and finds them lacking. He summons Ammit to devour their souls dealing 400/500/600/700/800 (120% of your magical power) damage.

    Some time ago on smiteboards I posted a rework to Anubis, that focused on reducing his burst dmg a bit, and increasing his survivabillity via lifesteal. I think these changes can make him more viable, without making him OP. Here it is:
    Everything in green is a buff and everything in red is a nerf

    Sorrow (passive): Anubis gains 15% magical lifesteal. Every time a god damaged by Anubis dies, Anubis is healed for 20% of his maximum health and the cooldown on Mummify is reset.

    Passive fully replaced. His old passive became a part of grasping hands and the lifesteal effect was given to Plague of Locust

    Plague of Locust (1st skill): A plague of locusts bellows forth from Anubis' mouth, smothering all enemies in the area and doing 35/50/65/80/95 (+50% of your magical power) damage every .5s for 2s. Anubis is slowed by 50% while channeling this abillity and is immune to knockback. This abillity has 100% magical lifesteal scaling.

    Damage per tick: 35/50/65/80/95 (+50%) from 35/50/65/80/95 (+40%)
    Duration 2 sec from 3 sec.
    Self movement speed slow: 50% from 100%
    Magical lifesteal scaling: 100% from 50% (or 33%, not sure)
    Cost: 60/70/80/90/100 mana.
    Cooldown: 10 seconds from 15/14/13/12/11 seconds.

    Mummify (2nd skill): Anubis fires a bandage projectile, mummifying and stunning his target for 1.2/1.4/1.6/1.8/2s. 10% of all damage taken by the target is transfered as healing to Anubis.

    Cost: 60 mana.
    Cooldown: 18/17/16/15/14 seconds.

    Grasping Hands (3rd skill): Anubis calls for help from the underworld as hands penetrate the ground and claw at his enemies, doing 10/25/40/55/70 (+30% of your magical power) damage and slowing them by 25% every .5s for 4s. Each time a god is damaged by this abillity, Anubis will steal steal 2 physical and 2 magical protection from the god for 5 seconds.

    AOE size: increased by 30%
    Damage per tick: 10/25/40/55/70 (+30%) from 25/40/55/70/85 (+35%)
    Duration: 4 sec from 2 sec.
    Cost: 70/80/90/100/110 mana.
    Cooldown: 15/14/13/12/11 seconds.

    Death Gaze (Ultimate): Anubis focuses all of his energy into a piercing gaze, doing 70/85/100/115/130 (+45% of your magical power) damage to all enemies in the path, every 0.3 seconds for 3 seconds. While channeling Anubis cannot be killed.

    Cost: 90 mana.
    Cooldown: 90/85/80/75/70 seconds.

    I like this except for the unkillable thing on his ultimate. DoT will destroy him and we can always Destruction-ify it but dat passive doe.

    Amazing rework idea. Him not being able to die during his ultimate is a little too much however. I would love this to be implemented, or at least taken into consideration by Hi-Rez.

    These are some pretty good ideas. Not being killed while ulting would be awesome in a team fight.
    I guess this means anubis health can be reduced to 1 hp. Still might be a bit unfair though.

    There's too many additional effects related to healing. It could be made simpler.
    all the extra lifesteal would make anubis heal too much from minion waves, but wouldn't help you much when attacking enemy gods.
    The actual lifesteal mages have on abilities is divided by 3, so it's mostly just effective when attacking a minion wave.

    Instead anubis could have 25% true lifesteal against enemy gods for example.

    the change to grasping hands seems a bit unnecessary. The damage that could do is too high.

    I really like Anubi and i had lot of fun playing him The first (and for now only) skin i bought is for him

    My opinion is that he would be fixed if only he could move a bit during 2 and maybe 4 (even very slowly).

    Another nice thing would be as someone suggested, with a double click a teleport to 3 location, or even 2, if 3 would be too strong. With 2 he would only have a gap closer and a very situation dependant escape, while with teleport to 3 a huge buff to his mobility.

    Said that, I think he is still playable and a cool god.

    Hi everybody I think that anubis could me more viable than actually .I have fiew idea for this
    His first spell is good but we can't escape the canalisation exposing anubis to damage ... The idea is that Anubis could move during canalisation or move excape canalisation or he could move but slower during canalisation or increase range for 1st spell and ult. Same thing for ultimate .Because a part of the anubis's burst is lost due to that for exemple for enemy wgo can escape easyly from the spells. In my opinion they have to up anubis's early game he's the champ with the lowest life and life/lvl he is very squishy and can't place is burst. more over he has very long cooldown on every spell .His damage is low in early game and are 'fine' in late Ulty is good but as i said we have to cast all the ulti to make damage The 3st spell make low damage maybe adjust damage 0.1 tis/s and up damage
    Up life (350-> 370 for exemple) cooldown 15 -> 13 And a change on his first spell would be nice

    Anubis's damage is low ? :O

    That is not true!

    Anubis needs buffs though. i would like to see him be able to move at his 1 with 40% reduced speed.
    Also, a passive change: instaed of being 7 protections stolen and 3 stacks, make it 5 protections stolen and 6 stacks. 20% ls increase per stack.
    Also, remove the resolve from the passive. it is confusing enough. If you want to give anubis resolve, put 0/10/20/30/40% reduced cc to his 1.

    If that would not be enough, his base movement speed should be increased. 350 -> 360.
