I see when threads get closed there is very little feedback as to why it happened besides "I think this thread is done".
Lack of feedback is one of the biggest reasons for frustration in any kind of exchange (be it in a forum or someone gets banned)
I suggest that once you decide that when you close a thread,
1. give reasons as to why you closed the thread
2. if appropriate, summarize the points (in a unbiased manner) given
3. if appropriate, suggests possible solutions to the problem at hand.
We as a community don't know everything, being explained things by dev not only reduces BM in the whole forum but generally increases co-operation.
Note, this also applies to everything PR thing you do.
