    Anime Discussion

Surprised there isn't one of these yet, especially when there's so many people out there who often express their interests in anime.

So what are you all interested in? DBZ? Attack on Titan?

Maybe even Naruto or Pokemon? I'm sure some will like it or even the old ones.

    Howabout some anime news?

Howabout an easy start: what anime do you like the most? Any new releases you're looking forward to or watching?

Of all the animes I've watched, I'd have to say my top three would be Steins;Gate, Death Note, and Lovely Complex.

Just recently watched Usagi Drop which, although learning the...sick ending of the manga slightly soiled it for me, the anime itself was one of the most heartwarming ones I've seen.

Next anime I plan on watching is Ef: A Tale of Melodies, the sequel to Ef: A Tale of Memories.

I don't like watching animes that are still releasing episodes (still end up watching them, though) so I haven't familiarized myself with Spring 2014 releases.

Oh, and the English Dub to Attack on Titan is coming out soon, and since I'm not a weaboo who hates all dubs for no reason, I'm looking forward to rewatching it.

I can't seem to find anything that genuinely interests me anymore. I've always enjoyed anime but the last two years have been incredibly lackluster to me excluding a very little amount of series.

The most recent ones I've been watching are Nobunaga The Fool and Log Horizon, which I ended up semi-dropping because it just got too dull.

Other than that I guess I'll check out SAO 2 later this year.

I must say, I didn't watch SAO due to hearing about how atrocious the second arc was, but I guess that's what happens when you change the writer, huh?

Indeed, or rather the first 13 episodes of it are coming to DVD and what not in July. The voices have been sounding pretty good so far in the main cast, but the background characters, ehh...

Naruto because Kakashi and Death Note because L. I'm awful, I know. But seriously, I have the biggest crush on Kakashi ever.

Recently watched Ano Hana and the Tiger and bunny movie.

Ano Hana was insanely feely, and T&B was pretty cool, might watch the anime for that soon.

I think this might be the perfect thread to ask this. What is the appeal with anime? In today's world it seems that I am the only person not interested or watching any kind of anime. Literally everyone around me does. What gives?

Biggest thing for me in anime is the absurd facial expressions that are impossible to do in real life.
