PSA: How to Capture images and Video from SMITE to report a bug.

    To capture a screenshot:
Type /shot in chat anywhere (in the lobby or in a match) and it will capture your screen.
Then to find those screenshots go to
    Code:
    Documents\My Games\Smite\BattleGame\ScreenShots
If you're on windows XP you'll need to use
    Code:
    %userprofile%\Documents\My Games\Smite\BattleGame\ScreenShots
Once you've found the file upload it to and share the link here.

To capture video is a bit more complicated, but here's how in pictures.

    1. First though you'll need to download
    2. Run the installer and open the program.
    3. Open SMITE and use alt+tab to switch back to OBS

9.Play SMITE like normal and push the hotkey when you want to start/stop recording.

10.Find your video in the location you selected earlier to upload it to youtube.

I seem to have found a free version of Fraps that does everything I need in terms of screenshots and video, rather than using OBS; the only difference is that I prefer to render the videos in Windows Live Movie Maker (pre-installed on most windows installations) to put text annotations and decrease the file size. But I believe that Youtube will accept the raw output just as easily as the rendered video.
Anubis, He Bo, Ao Kuang, Mercury, Tyr, Zeus, Ares... over countless matches, I've lost my ability to be surprised by their damage output. It's one of those things you just have to accept.

Or, put smite in windowed fullscreen, and hit the printscreen button.

Not always an option when you need to capture something quickly. I play in fullscreen because my system runs it more smoothly than borderless window.

I'll probably make a video about this eventually but, this was easy and I'd love to see more of the community enabled to report things when it doesn't cost them any money and not much time.

I'm also going to post how to record things with nVidia's shadowplay feature soon too.

Arguably, you would leave it in Fullscreen Windowed mode (I do because multiple monitors). In that case it would be faster.

I've never noticed a performance difference between the two modes, how noticeable is it for you?

I load Smite through Steam, so all I have to do is hit F12 for a screenshot. Steam will pop up the screenshots from my last session as I logout of Smite, and I can upload to my Steam account and post the link wherever needed. ^_^
