Thread: Did they remove the stat feature that allowed you to see Wins/Losses?

    Did they remove the stat feature that allowed you to see Wins/Losses?

    They seemed to have replaced it with amount of game mode played? Or am I not finding it somewhere. Honestly I think the Win - Losses was much better to have rather then games played in a particular game mode.

    i was confused too when i found out they removed the win/loss rate.
    perhaps they'll bring it back in the next patch

    "ppl used it to troll other ppl with low win/lose ratio" some random hirez dev.

    Now i have to use www.smite.guru or www.smitestuff.com to troll ppl. Well no real lose.

    What kind of liberal trash is this? We cant no longer see peoples win/lost ratio because someone might realize they are a baddie so lets remove it and give everyone a trophy and avoid hurting someones feelings.

    No one should have to bear the fact that they are chit, lets all pretend everyone is equal... trophies for everyone!

    Yeah idk why they removed it. MAny times i would refuse people into my Clan after getting a friend request just by their W/L %

    SMITE: We have removed the feature in which the game would end after one team has killed the enemy titan. This seemed to be a focal point of conflict, as such to avoid unpleasant grief, games will no longer end when a titan is defeated. Instead games will last until all players have abandoned the game, in which they will be taken to a winners circle screen and given a trophy.

    We have also removed the feature which allowed other players to see when another player has died. Gods no longer die when they reach zero health, instead they are reset to max health and also given a trophy for their effort.

    I can't even inspect my own recent matches for who I played with or something, it just says what god I played and that's it :s

    They removed it because it was causing toxicity. There are a few problems with the win/loss. First of all, there are the people who think W/L = skill, and it doesn't. For example, before they removed it I had a 49% win rate in Conquest. I lost 7 Conquest games in a row to get me to that point, but every game I was even or positive, high player damage, high creep damage, helping in team fights, and taking objectives. We kept losing because we would have a lane or a jungler who would feed hard and cost us the game. W/L shows nothing about individual skill in a TEAM game. Second, if people are worrying about W/L, they tend to be more toxic when losing. This is because they are mad someone is going to screw up their W/L and so they become toxic about it, I've seen it happen. Third, if you really care about W/L, go to SmiteGuru and see what it is. I play SMITE casual games for FUN, and I like not having to worry about a W/L rate.
