    There are advantages and disadvantages:

    Advantages:
    - healing ofc
    - her ult
    - and maybe she can help clear the wave better than guardians do

    Disadvantages:
    - You do not have a tank who just blinks in cc's the whole enemy team
    - basically you just dont have a tank

I don't think she's a good support, requires a lot of time for her to work well and that means she needs to feed. She's a great solo laner, and can bring a lot of aid to teamfights in mid-late game, but on the duo lane she will be too weak for too long. If you want to do it you need a team built around it, for example having a strong warrior (Herc or Chaac) in solo, or maybe even Hades, to make up for the team-tankiness loss.

Aphrodite is a good support if your ADC also has some sort of hard CC as well.

Her lack of mobility makes things quite difficult as she would be at a huge disadvantage to any mobile gods for early ganks or hyperaggressive duo enemy laners. Her early game is a bit on the weaker side because she eats mana like crazy, but once mid game comes around (or if your ADC is smart enough to push out the lanes, thus giving you guys an advantage), that is when she starts shining.

List of gods more viable in support than Aphrodite:
Athena, Geb, Sylvanus, Guan Yu, Ymir, Ares, Sobek, Sun Wukong, Fenrir, Thor, Cabrakan, Bacchus, Kumbhakarna, Chaac, Hercules, Tyr, Odin, arguably Ne Zha.

But hey, she's better than Hades support.

...please be careful when using the word... "heroes."
    They're gods. Gods.

Aphrodite is still a viable support. She's listed in the majority of lists as Tier A, which is at the point of balance. Her laneclear and presence is kind of insane. She can just sit in lane forever and wreck your stuff.

Which makes her a really good solo laner. But she's very squishy with no mobility and a heal that relies heavily on its 90% magical power scaling, which makes her lacklustre as a support.
