I don't play Hel to well (hehe that rhymed) but Hi-Rez Kelly is very good with her. Try to catch one of her streams sometime!
    I don't have a cool signature.

For the most part, don't. She's not very good outside stompy games in your favor.

Play it safe early and get book of thoth as soon as possible. Heal your minion wave. Wait until her crazy late game.

I'll try to given a more detailed reply. Hel, being one of the few "stance dance" gods can be difficult to learn, but when truly mastered they can devastate. Now since Hel is a god with 6 abilities, she doesn't have an ultimate. Because of this, you might want to consider a CDR build. You should also consider the item "Devine Ruin" since she uses her abilities so much. I've also seen some people use "Doom Orb"

Pro tip: light and dark ability slots do not share cooldown. If your 1 is on CD in dark form, you can quickly change to light and fire it again.

Hel is a poker. Take what shots you can, but don't go full in unless you have help coming or your opponent is low HP.

Conquest lanes are Solo or mid. It is possible to run Support (I've done it), but it is VERY hard.

I'm only a master 2, so I' not an ace. But I hope this helps.

Add me in game, I'm mastery rank X and consider myself decent with her.

Hel has a lot of hard counters. Ares is nightmare to deal with (really any god with lots of CC). She has no escapes and is extremely vulnerable to CC. Beads are your friend. The short range on her abilities doesn't help either.

the best way to play hel is to simply hang back usually and perform support. You want to watch, use cleanse, heal, then go in and burst.

Thank you kindly for all your replies!

I think, for the most part, I have trouble figuring out when to go in and burst and when to hang back, but I'll take KingScuba's advice and try that.

Why is Doom Orb bad for Hel?
