I have some stuff u can try, there is nothing to lose right.

Turn off the AA ingame and force it trough the driver settings. Cap your fps to 60 fps in smite trough the fps limiter in the driver settings.

Run the game in full screen mode not in Window mode. Turn off v sync ingame

If your GPU is overclocked for what ever reason, turn it off for smite it is not nescesary for that old engine if your GPU is not an old dirty thing from 5 Years ago.

So if anyone is having this problem, I'm going to add my 2 cents.

I have an EVGA 980 FTW. I guess a lot of the 980s have a built in boost clock, which is great most of the time, except with older or less stressful games. I'd have my drivers crash on HoTS and SMITE, A LOT. Blank screen, forced restart.

Solution: well, I guess some updated fixed a lot of the problems. But for me, I downloaded EVGA Precision X, it allows you to OC your card. With this program I downclocked -101 Mhz and over volted +1.2 mV. This solved MOST of my problems. I still get the occasional blank screen (GPU turning off) situation. But its rare now.

Hey guys, may I ask who here is using Logitech hardware ? Keyboards, Mouse, headphones?? With the logitech software though .... I think that is whats causing the issue. I noticed my mouse and keyboard get funky when it does it , and it screws with my audio setup too.

Happens to me too, no other game, just out of nowhere a blank screen.

It just so happens I am also using a GTX 980.

Also get a sound issue but I am not using Logitech

Was there ever a fix to this? Not only did this glitch make me quit Smite but it also happens in their Paladins game. I'm guessing it has something to do with a feature both clients share or something in the way they program their games. This has not happened with any other game outside of HiRez and I have no idea how to fix it. Support wouldn't help when I asked about the issue and I haven't found any solution online.
