Thread: Hou Yi PTS Fixed issues.

    Hou Yi PTS Fixed issues.

    Here's what we fixed from this PTS!



    • Hou Yi
      • General
        • Enabled Sunbreaker skin
        • Fixed missing "Difficulty Rating" and "Pros" on his god description.
        • Fixed his combat stance not having the string charged back while he is moving.
        • Fixed typo in lore, "Knocking arrow to bow" should be "Nocking arrow".
      • Ricochet
        • Fixed various issues with the preview targeter showing that it will ricochet off some god deployables.
        • Fixed the targeter not putting brackets on enemies that will be hit after the initial one.
        • Fixed the projectile not lasting the full duration after second bounce.
        • Fixed being able to stun a single target multiple times.
        • Decreased the charge to fire time.
      • Dive Bomb
        • Fixed ranks 3 and 4 sometimes not dealing damage.

    • MISC
      • Fixed Fenrir playing intro and god select voice in lobby.
      • Fixed High Sea's Sobek eyes not appearing orange.
      • Fixed Kukulkan ( Sacred Dragon skin) appearing stiff after using taunt/laugh/joke.
      • Fixed "Current Attack Speed" missing from the scoreboard which is now listed under Magical/Physical.

    While playing with Hou Yi, my 3rd ability (forget the name, its the glide) it was not doing damage upon landing. Tried both keeping it up for the entire duration as well as cancelling early and still it did zero damage, both to creeps and enemy gods. Also, with the new scoreboard screen (T by default) none of the categories listed Attack Speed for me.

    Hel minor bug, hinder/cleanse is causing a movement debuff as though a basic attack has been fired so movement speed drops when cast

    Awilix movement bug - While on Suku when jumping forward diagonally and jumping again in the same direction when landing she will instead jump backwards.

    Ares standard color and SWC skin colors are messed up. Look orangy, reddish and generally bad to be honest.

    Additionally:

    Sobek's lighting/effects seem to be turned off in the god selection screen.
    In fact, I'm noticing a lot of lighting missing on gods all over the place. Might want to do a complete recheck to make sure everything is working properly. (Noticed it on Kali & Aphro so far, but probably more)

    These Clap Emotes are missing Sound and that should be fixed:

    You can triple hit against GF and do like 1000 ish damage to it.
    With his ult and 1 triple hitting you can solo it really early then most gods and slightly later with his 1 only.
    Not sure if it will be a problem live.

    Sobek's recolour actually looks good since albino crocodiles exist

    List of Proposed Fixes for Hou Yi's Kit

    LIST OF PROPOSED FIXES

    1. Show the projected projectile path for Ricochet (1) as soon as the skill is being activated (i.e., before Hou Yi readies his bow).
    2. Make it so that Ricochet (1) clears minion archers when the ability is at maximum rank (cf. Apollo, Anhur).
    3. Add visual/audio cue when Mark of the Golden Crow (2) is being activated.

    REASONING

    That the projected projectile path for Hou Yi's Ricochet (1) is only shown after he readies his bow greatly limits the usefulness of the ability considering the difficulty of the skill shot and the unpredictable nature of SMITE's terrain collision. This circumstance adds to the already high overall casting time of the ability and the relatively slow travel speed of the projectile itself when ricocheting off walls.

    As well, that his Ricochet (1) when maxed out doesn't clear minion archers is disappointing to say the least and sure to limit Hou Yi's usefulness as an ADC (see Artemis, Neith).

    It can be difficult to notice whether Hou Yi is in casting mode for Mark of the Golden Crow (2), as the ground target indicator only gets highlighting when enemy gods are being targeted. It would be nice to have a visual/audio cue already for when the skill is being activated.
