I really want Rage Bakasura skin now D:

Due to the free gods rotation event, I recently played a lot of Bakasura and I think he's a blast to play. He's quickly becoming one of my favorite gods. That sucky thing is now I really want that sexy Rage Bakasura skin lol. I recently hit level 30 so league is open to me now. I was thinking of doing League Joust because I won't have to rely on matchmaking giving me decent teammates. That said, I don't even know if there's enough time left for me to get to Gold V before the season ends. If there is enough time, do you guys have any tips for me? Which gods are best for this game mode? Any general tips for the match? I've never done 1v1 before so I don't know what to expect. Thanks

I got to Diamond V from qualifiers in under a week. Hit Diamond today.

Best Gods in joust are Chronos, Freya, Kali, Chang'e, Mercury, Bakasura, Poseidon, He Bo, Bastet, Loki. In no particular order, there are more, but I guess those are the best. Good luck.
The pros miss as many AA's as I do. I'm not a pro. Lyfe unfair.

That only happened because you had a high rank in the previous season, lol.

I didn't play in the previous season. But okay?

EDIT: No I lied. I played 1 game as Chaac and won in a previous season. Then I went 4-6 in my qualifiers this season and got placed in Silver III. I got promoted to Silver II then to Gold I. From Gold I promoted to Plat V into Plat III into plat I and finally into Diamond V.

I played one round of promotions roughly every day/ every other day. As I played more joust I became more accustomed to playing the mode and as such my performance in games went up exponentially.

In fact due to my poor performance in Qualifiers, as you can see above, I had to grind through a few divisions while also skipping multiple divisions due to extended win-streak.

As you can see on my profile in-game, I only have 94 games played. On Smite Guru however I have 93. because those 93 games were part of this season, which I played all in the past 10 day or so. You can check match history if you feel the need to verify that.

But yeah.. It's all down to that 1 win as Chaac 3 months ago, right? I mean, Corr, must be. How else would anyone get to Diamond V in a week? Surely not through skill or putting effort in to learning the game mode.

What does Corr means? Anyway, you were dusty when you started, you took that long break.(You weren't on from 2 3 weeks after I asked you about the 3v3, until the start of decembre)

I was rusty as all hell man. xD

Cor (not Corr, I typo'd) is an old English expression referring to "Cor blimey" which is a cockney idiom referring to the even older saying; "God, blind me."

That said, it's just an expression, I usually just use it because it's onomatopaeic. It's similar to 'God', 'gosh' or the more american 'golly' in it's usage. I suppose nowadays people would just say 'shit' or 'damn' in it's place though it isn't actually a swear word.
