This BINE clan does it, their fenrir was playing on US servers and he was from Australia apparently. He was the only one lagging during match and would literally teleport all over the place and only used his ult and brutalize skill (literally) the entire time. Only way we were able to kill him was to spam cc on him so he couldnt move keeping him from teleporting. The team i was and the team against us both knew he was doing it, there was a discussion about it at the end of match chat.

Here is how it works in smite:

1.) Make premade group, make sure 1 person has extremely poor connection
2.) Make sure person with poor connection has easy to use god that doesnt require many skill shots (fenrir for example)
    3.) Enter match
4.) Let the guy with poor connection (lag exploiter) draw focus on to him from other team
5.) He cant be hit, now that focus is on him, his team can start picking ppl off easier

    Why is it done?
Because if done right you can literally cheat the game by teleporting out of no where to lay down cc's, damage, etc and then run away without taking any damage.

If the people doing this find no enjoyment in it then why are players joining servers they cant hold decent connections to? Why would some of the teams admit to doing it? Try answering these 2 questions first before making another troll based comment.
The player lagging would have a hard time seeing where enemies are going and what they are doing making this strategy a complete disaster. Also the enemies shouldn't be foolish enough to fall for that strategy several times in a row unless they are really bad at the game or thinking at all for that matter.

Lagging in this game is a pain and I highly doubt anyone exploits it because it doesn't favor you in any way, it's better for the team if they don't have someone with bad connection.

There are two ways that kind of lag manifests in my experience: either it's constant making the game totally unplayable even with a god like Fenrir. This character will then either be killed off when it's safe to do so, or be generally ignored in a teamfight setting until he can safely be dealt with.

The other kind is more unpredictable. You have a higher chance to successfully execute attacks but the defensive porting is much less reliable. The whole strategy reduces the level of control over a character in exchange of "lucking out of situations".

I honestly don't see it working.
You dont see it working cause you dont understand it, a god like fenrir can do it easily with smite because brutalize follows the target and ragnarok only needs ppl to be grouped together so that you can grab one. It doesnt matter if he is focused because you cant see him, follow him, etc while he is teleporting all over the map. You can literally look at them stand at the other side of the map and then 2 seconds later hes behind you laying down attacks. And if you do focus him his teleporting makes it close to impossible to hit since he has no visible path so your only option of putting them down is to lay constant cc on him so that he cannot move

9 deaths, it didn't work very well for him did it.
I highly doubt someone would fuck up their own experience just to have "teleporting" that's not really helping him do anything.
Its no fun whos desperate enough to ruin his game just to have a chance at winning.

I'm from EU I played in NA last night, its something you need to do if you want to play with Americans its not exactly cheating.
And trust me you don't want 200 ping, its a pain.

Your scenario falls into the "highly unlikely" cases. Just let it go and start another game.

Brutalize isn't an autotargeted skill though. If you're lagging horribly you won't manage to hit it. It is an extremely easy skillshot if everything is moving normally but under extreme lag, it's another story.

Also, when Fenrir is brutalizing you you always know where he is, no matter if he's lagging or not. You can easily hit him then.

Try reading my other comments bud i've explained how it works, you dont need to be able to see them clearly. And fall for what? You think were falling for the exploit when they can teleport into the middle of a fight from out of no where? You think were falling for the exploit when were trying to shut him down after a kill streak but attacks wont register on him?

"I lost a match, even when one of the enemies was lagging. Now, I must make up somekind of excuse and complain about it."

He probably just joined his clanmates in other region and hoping he would not lag that much. But he did and tried to do his best in those circumstances. They ended up winning because of random reasons (being better). I don't believe it was intentionally done.
And he did not "teleport" there. He actually walked, but because of lag some of it didn't show, but it still took time. He saw himself "teleport" aswell, but he had no idea what was happening in between... i mean, he saw EVERYTHING teleport.

But you probably will disagree with everything and stay true to your initial post/opinion (because this is the magical place of teh interwebz). So, why did I bother?

God you have to be one of the biggest dumb asses in this forum's community. You realize i used the teleport in reference to what visually happens to their character during matches when experiencing high lag? No, you wouldnt realize that, because you dont even know what the fuck a lag exploit is.

I sware this community is almost as dumb as archeage when the forum users tried arguing saying no one ever hacks the game. Lag exploiting is in every game. EVERY GAME. The fact that people are trying to argue saying it doesnt exist in here only shows the lack of intelligence within this forum's community.

And no i wont agree with you, but i'm not going to try and explain any further because your not smart enough to comprehend anything thats been said, i've seen your previous posts in threads, you look at any information, twist it, and then make a false assumption claiming that its what the threads true intentions were about.
But please continue to troll online while you continue to fail in your life, its apparent your either a drop out or mentally challenged based on the way you analyze the reading material in front of you.

If everything you're saying is true then I'd rather think it's them using some sort of hack, then blaming it on lag to avoid reports.
