Isis and Vulcan are not hard to play. Isis has some tricks that aren't readily discernible--Spirit Ball, dropping ult onto someone before you detonate it, channeling Wing Gust for a couple hits and detonating the ult onto them during Wing Gust as a combo for example. In fact the only combo of her abilities like that she can't do is detonating Spirit Ball while channeling Wing Gust. Vulcan is just getting a feel for magma bomb and everything else is easy to use except for the ultimate which is more about either firing it from out of sight at long range so they have less time to react to it, or comboing it with magma bomb.

Ullr is my most played hunter (700+ worshipers) and I can tell you that Hel is harder (over 1400 on her for me.) Landing her 1s is like landing an Ullr axe stun, except far more vital to you actually doing much in a fight because if you miss them there is a pretty good chance you're screwed due to her suicidal range on damage spells.

Tyr is harder to play effectively than Hel but I think that's most likely because he's just so nerfed now he has a hard time killing anyone anymore unless he jumps them when they're at like 60% or less hp. He can get them so low by using the entire kit but then... nothing really. You can do weird niche builds on him with Hastened Fatalis to have enough sticking power to finish I guess but that's not really ideal.

Until one mage builds a divine ruin and 1 or 2 people build a weakening curse and she can't heal much at all, yeah. As long as you're not relying on a full CDR Ares cheese to do everything for you, you can wreck Hel and her team in arena easy.

Zhong Kui skis? Where can I get some on those?

On topic: Hel is mana hungry in the beginning. Steal her blue buff, she will have trouble staying in lane. If you are wanting to go on Hel wait till she switches to dark stance so you have more time before she can switch and heal.

Isis and Vulcan lack a lot more escape than the gods you mentioned. In fact, my entire point was how to ward off ganks when playing those characters. All the other mages have safe methods of farming / escaping ganks, but Isis and Vulcan don't necessarily.

In terms of "combos," no god in this game has a "hard" combo. (I come from fighting games lol)
