    "Smite.exe has stopped working" crash.

I've been searching for 2 days on every possible forum to find a fix but I couldnt find anything... Maybe someone knows how to fix this: Game freezes and crashes every match I play, between min 15 and 25, with the message "Smite.exe has stopped working."

Lately I've let my team know my smite.exe will stop working after 15 min, just so they know it and won't get that mad when they lose the match because of that.

    I've tried everything, including:
    -Repairing/validating the game
-Reinstalling (in the same folder/ in different folder , same/different partition)
    -Opening the game as admin
-Running the game on safe mode
    -Formatting my whole system

Since formatting my whole system didnt change anything, I still have yet to consider:
-Playing on another pc, in another house, in another town, in another country... but I doubt I'll be able to play a full match without crashing, since this error is so persistent and will probably follow me until the day I die.

And btw, this is not the Xab crash when having selected auto lvl skills/auto buy items. This is happening on any god, on any video/audio/game settings. I also have the latest GPU drivers installed so it's not that either...

    Pyroks,

Post a DXDIAG report -- Select "Start | Run" from the Windows start menu and run "dxdiag". This should load the DirectX Diagnostic Tool. Then choose "Save All Information", save the file to a location on your harddrive. Open it and copy+paste the info into a http://pastebin.com/ doc and link it here.

As well as some event logs. Get these directly after your game crashes:

    1. Open your Windows event viewer (go to the start menu and type "Event Viewer" in the search box).
    2. Once in the event viewer, click "Windows Logs" and then select "Application."
    3. Please copy and paste the last few logs into a word document and send it to us as an attachment. The details of each log can be copied from the box in the middle of the event viewer.

For a more in-depth guide please navigate here:

    Thanks

Sorry I copy-pasted, but I couldnt find how to attach the word document to my reply.

Edit: For some reason the logs weren't in chronological order, and I doubt the first 4 errors have anything to do with my problem, but hey what do I know. The smite error log is the one I'm getting everytime I crash.

No problem, just what we needed!

Faulting application name: Smite.exe, version: 1.0.2418.2, time stamp: 0x546e849a
Faulting module name: Smite.exe, version: 1.0.2418.2, time stamp: 0x546e849a
    Exception code: 0xc0000005
Looks like you're getting an access violation error code. It's a rather common error code and can indicate many potential things such as: driver issues, hardware issues (faulty RAM), a bad game install, etc..

    1. Navigate to the following folder: \Documents\my games\Smite\BattleGame\Logs

Please send me any recent .dmp logs located in that directory. (upload them to something like Dropbox / Google Drive and PM them to me. Or open a support ticket with them attached)

    2. Run a MEMTEST to test your memory for issues. When doing this, it's best to test only one stick of RAM at a time.

This guide is pretty straight forward and should help you in doing this: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials...memtest86.html

Let us know the results of it.

    3. Did you just start playing Smite or have you been able to play for a while without any crashes? Any issues in other games?

    Thanks

Thanks again for the fast reply.

    1. I've just sent you a ticket with the dmp files.

    2. I will run the MEMTEST shortly and I'll let you know the results. However, I think the game started to crash after I installed the latest GPU driver.

    3. I've been playing smite since April this year I think, and it's the first time I'm having problems with it. Also I don't have any issues in any other game.

I did the MEMTEST and everything is ok. This is starting to get on my nerves... I've been trying for the whole day to get the first win of the day on every game type to get the gems but the game crashes in arena when the enemies are at 1-24 points left. By the time i log back in my team has won, i have the victory in my match history but the win doesn't count as the "first win of the day". So far I won 3 arenas, none of which counted for me cuz of this amazing erorr... But there's no problem today, as the arena first win only gives 5 gems, but if I lose 90 possible gems tomorrow cuz of this error I'm probably gonna quit...

I've tried installing another copy of windows, and I've installed the video driver I had before the crashes started to happen. Didn't help... Still crashing... I'm trying so hard to fix this thing and be able to play like everyone else but it's like the game doesn't want me to play it...
