I have many suggestions about Mayan gods, because i worked with the Mayan culture in the university (about 35 pages written, and i have read about 20 books about Maya). I would suggest the Kukulkan as a Mayan mage: He is the god of Fire, Water, Earth and Air. The elements could match for every slot of Smite skills (1, 2, 3, 4). The passive could be something like cyclus of elements like, water makes air stronger, air makes fire stronger etc. Something like this. what about shinigami (god of death) the Japanese version of the grim reaper, Mithra, Pandora, Perseus, Verethragna, Circe, Leviathan, Melqart, Metis, Susanoo, Vaisravana and Artio
It'll be nice to see Shinto, Christian, Hebrew, Mesopotamian, and Native American Gods/Monster/Heroes. How neat would it be to see things like Gilgamesh, Izanagi, and Sedna? Before you say anything about adding Christian/Hebrew stuff in you got to remember that this is a work of fiction and some games have included in christian legends into them (Shin Megami Tensei as the thing at the top of my head). I can see why Hindus were displeased at the game as since their religion is very big just like Christianity and their gods where being depicted as fictional.

Izanagi, Quetzalcoatl, Tezcatlipoca, Gilgamesh, Girtablulu, Tiamat, Epona (Roman Goddess of horses), Suzanoo, Amaterasu, Goliath, David, Metatron, Lucifer, Gabriel, Moses, Jesus, Mara, Prometheus, Medusa, Set, Behemoth, Apophis/Apep, Tsukuyomi, Ishtar, Gaia, Ereshkigal, Inari, and even more.
Nut is planned apparently. Geb has a voiceover line interacting with her.
