Does almost nobody play these or why does the matchmaking suck?

I just played my (most likely) first MOTD game and (quite possibly) last. The matchmaking is horrible. I got grouped with absolute newbies. If the matchmaking cannot find a suitable team + opponents, then it should just automatically extend the waiting time, until they are found.

Tell me, does this here below seem right?

Not a lot of people play Vulcan so it's fair for them not to really play well for the most part. One matchup in MOTD != Everyone in MOTD is bad. You'll get the same bad luck occasionally in all game modes

Thank you. I will quote you in this in other places, if you don't mind.

Also cant complain about it honestly if dont want play with crappy teamates go to league and work your way up till you get to the people who are good at the game. Then wont have to deal with ¨newbies" By the way have give them some slack some guy in your first couple games was probably saying same thing about you. Then further to go with that help them get better. Tolerate and help them, I end up throwing some matches cause I start helping them and try teaching them. Patience is a virtue

I'm not sure there currently is an elo system for MoTD. Usually elo is calculated individually for each mode (for example: I often play together with an irl friend, and while I'm usually top elo in Conquest, he always is in Arena). However, the first time I EVER played MoTD I was top in the lobby right away. Since they also don't keep stats for it I think matchmaking may just be random as opposed to the other modes.
