Buff Raijin - the most useless god in Smite

2nd ability - useless unless you hit it, but still doesnt do enough dmg
3rd - good, but too slow
4th - 1st drum: good enough dmg, the rest if useless

He can be an absolute monster in high rank comp if someone plays him right, even in casuals, too.

His abilities are meant to be used in sync with each other, especially his 2 and his 1. You're ignoring that his 2 slows, and his 1 has 120% scaling as well as 340 base damage if you hit all the shots.

3 was buffed and is a lot better than it was before when you stopped moving to cast it. Potentially why he is one of the most annoying gods to face since he can use that to go over walls or ambush.

His other hits from his ult aren't supposed to be damage. They're supposed to be for CC so that you can use his ult for something other than damage, especially if he combos with another god. There's a reason you get 4 shots.[SPOILER][/SPOILER]

I like Raijin, when I get him in assault jummy, but he does seem out of meta or smth, no one ever plays him by choice in my experience, so you might be on to smth.
