It would be nice if you could bind navigating the item store to the D-pad only so you could continue using the sticks for movement and maybe just stretch fingers over. This way you can check builds or swap relics/consumable slots while still moving like you can with the scoreboard. Obviously this may not be a welcome change for all so making it an option you can turn on would be preferable.
