    Why Even Release New Gods or Goddesses?

    Why is Hi-Rez even bothering to release a new goddess, if in 2-3 weeks, she'll be nerfed to being too OP or some BS like that!? I think they should properly balance out all the gods so that they seem balanced and fair to play against, not make them all OP and then nerf them to the ground because they made a mistake in doing so. They did this with Olorun, Persephone, and they'll do the same thing with the new goddess. It's such a shame that a game with so much potential has to have the most TOXIC community, I've EVER seen! Because it would've been so much better with a better community, at least that's how I think, anyways.

    If you're worried about Yemoja, don't be. She seems really bad so far, her Omi mechanism just puts all of her abilities on cooldown almost all the time. Imagine playing early game Chronos except you literally cannot gain mana regen all match long, and your max mana does not increase at all. You're always stuck with the 'you can fire two abilities then need to back' gameplay. That's Yemoja.

    Releasing boring cookie cutter Gods that are balanced is easy.

    Making Gods that have new mechanics and functions that are balanced is harder.

    It is better if new Gods are OP then UP. Cause if they are UP no one will play them and then there is no statistics or feedback to evaluate how to best balance the God.

    Further more even if released balanced people will be so bad with them they will cry UP and they will buff Gods that are balanced to appeal the community and then we just shifted the problem ahead in time. This has happened with a few releases the past 2 years, Arthur for example.

    Arthur was bad in season 5 especially with all his bugs. In S6 all the changes favored him hard.

    Peopel say "just pace her and your Omi will be fine" but that only fucking works when you are at max mana and all her shit asides form her 2 requires ally setup and she's so reliant on items to scale. Do they want her to mid or solo or anything but play the support role?

    Actually, in the lastest Tier list, Olorun is actually pretty balanced I'd say, (still really good) but balanced, and Presephone, they are nerfing her because she is op atm... and to answering your question, why are they creating new gods... well, thats simple... Just with any game, with every new Season update, what happens? New content, characters, Skins, Maps, Features, etc... If they did not offer New Gods, They technically could focus more on balancing yes... however, they have a separate Team for that, they have a team for development and designers, and a team for Testing and Balancing

    Im not sure what Balancing has to do with toxicity of the community, but to address the community, yes, it does have its issues, however, that's not Hirez's fault, and if anything, The people that react that way react out of competitiveness in most cases because of losing, not because of hate, there is a difference, does it make it right, no of course not, and that's why it still makes it a issue. However, this game can be ridiculously fun with friends and a active clan or heck, find a Discord group to join and play with some buds on there... you dont have to go at it alone.... remember this my friend.

    Persephone is bitch to play against unless you know the MU. Most people don't or refuse to. Late game she's potent ult bot since her ullt cuts enemy dps to force them to waste autos to save allies.
