    Ao Kuang Ult

    Can smth be done about this? Number of times this fails for x reasons is just annoying.

    Sure his base kit is strong enough to pwn anyway, it just feels bad so often not getting in air when u would like to.

    Only way to obviously fix it is to remove the knockup, then no stealing or beads out.

    Since this would be a buff, you have to nerf somewhere.

    Only thing i can think of is making it apply a 100% damage mitigation on target within execution threashold until the animation ends on a successful execute. That way Ao Kuang is the only one who can get kill credit.

    Even that won't work, since most of the time the issue is that his ult kills them preventing them from... Being executed by the ult

    I think his ult need a fix, countless times i got people leaving middle my ult using some item or skill. Once i even got in the dragon mode of it without executing a person (That got Aphrodite ultimate while i was already eating them as dragon).

    I must argue that His ultimate just needs a new animation or to just be made faster to allow for better use. With Ao Kuang, build for magical power, attack speed, and life steal, you can pop your 2 and burn someone down in under 4 seconds and ult em with ease. He is a Pop In Pop Out character that can be seen as an assassin in some cases. His ultimate is slow, yes, and often bugs out on me where someone in execute range takes no damage and dont even die, but all that is needed is a better animation to allow for it to do better. Like maybe he doesnt just sit there for a second or two once he hits his target and instead just goes straight up on contact.

    Ao Kuang is having trouble getting it up it seems. XD. Or have the execute happen a lot sooner instead of halfway through getting into the air.

    The only reason the execute occurs mid air and not before the toss is cause of getting a failed execute when you just knock them 150 odd units up into the air. They had to make the execute and a failed execute with damage work together and that's how they chose to do this. If they get out of an execute, its cause they healed/regen'd, became cc immune or damage immune or leaped (a dash just has him stick to the target and follow them). I haven't seen a case personally where absolutely no damage happens on a successful ult hit with no outside influence, but with the way its programmed, I have no issue seeing that as a possibility.

    While the initial stab does do some damage, that's supposed to actually counteract natural regeneration from items and HP5 and bring someone back under the threshold for an execute if they are regenerating.

    Yesterday I plucked myself out of an AO execute as sobek. We charged at each other at the same time might be he activated ult slightly before I activated pluck. But my immunity frames on my pluck was stronger then his immunity frames on his execute. I dont think a normal move should ever trump an ult move like this. Not only did I not die but I also tossed him away, He died, I felt sorry for him.

    I think he should get CC immune as soon as he hits with his ult and it needs to last until he either is in air or animation is canceled.

    This could work.

    Also the only reason you trumped his ult is cause you actually hit him and got your CC immunity from your Pluck (that buff last year was still one of the most op things they could have done to fix that ability, same with Chiron's Training Excersize gaining CC immunity for a quarter second now too).
