Aphrodite way too weak.

Our lovely aphrodite is way to weak...
Her start is ....
Her damage isnt insane and her defense too.
Her passive only works completely on modes like 5 vs 5 and here comes the problem. They mostly attack 5 on one lane in late game and 20 defense is nothing in lategame.
So ply buff her little bit

I mean, she's supposed to be a support and is arguably one of the best healers in the game. You can't have extremely high damage, an ult that breaks all cc and prevents all damage, high healing, AND high defense.
You're not supposed to just rely on her passive to give you defense throughout the game. A lot of top aphro builds suggest at least 1 defensive item, if not 2.

Not to mention her win rate spikes as you get higher and higher in rank (>60% in diamond)

Yeah, the issue with Aphrodite is that her healing and her ult are so god damn strong that you can't buff the rest of her kit in any way without making her super OP.

Which is why in a thread a while back, I posited that she could benefit from a rework in order to shift her power away from her healing into other parts of her kit, so it would be easier to balance her in a way where she's not in an awkward position being so reliant on her healing to be valuable to a team.

That's no basis on which to judge a god. She has plenty of damage for what she is.

Conq, the only mode Smite is balanced around, is 5v5.

I'm not voting for buffs, but I do wish they'd put her more in line with other healers such as Ra and Syl, where they heal slightly less, but they apply protections. This would make her more viable in the support role or even bruiser role, oddly enough.

My only issue with Aphro is her early CDs and the width of her 1 but you cannot have everything.

Though, to be honest, those 2 roles are already where she shines in the competitive scene.

Or at least shone, until changes were made that pushed her out after briefly being S+ tier (Changes such as the nerf to Soul Reaver so she couldn't burst as hard and the buffs to Ah Puch to make him not a complete joke to run in Conq and he completely dumpsters Aphro in lane because every time she tries to clear the wave, she uses her birbs = free stun and nuke from Ah Puch's 3)

Meanwhile, you'd be making her even more annoying to deal with in casual games, since, with her heal being only healing, you get a ton of anti-heal and then she's only got her items and passive to boost her up. With her heal giving prots instead of raw healing, she'd have those on top. I mean, her passive is basically a free Zhong Kui passive as is and we all know how annoying it can be to take him out... Giving her MORE prots would be really obnoxious.

She's a utiltiy mage but she can't support in duo because she needs HEAVY farm. Solo lane she can't really do much but farm for levels and gold and other solo gods can offer more early on (And gank) also clear wise hers take some time to ramp up for a mage. She got a notable heal nerf. Can be counterpicked and shutdown extremely hard

She can't really abuse her passive early on because she either only has like 4-5 tops in most parts of the conq match until the late game

Why not make it % mitigation like most defense buffs or not so reliant on outside factors that she can't control? Sobek, Zhong and Xing Tian is based off their usage of skills.

Because then it's not affected by penetration and that's not what she needs.
