Redeem events - why bother if your servers can't handle it?

Why bother making redeem events, if your machines can't handle it? It happened to me 3x times in one day.. I saw the redeem event, tried to log in but always the same issue.. Network problems. No one was able to connect & claim it. Not me nor my friends. Tell me which ignorant fool has decided to make events when it was clear the first time around that your crap servers can't hold the line? First I'd smack you, then fire you two second later. Only thing you achieved it bad impression and it won't go away any time soon. All that money and you can't even grab a proper dedicated machine to host your game. GTFO my sight god damn lowbobs.

Okay first of all, the server overload was probably huge because how often do that many people log in to smite at the same time?

Second, they at least gave free stuff, next time they may not bother.

Third, even though I agree their servers are shit, it feels wrong to bash Hirez when they just gave out loads of free stuff.
What do I put here now?

But honestly, good servers > free stuff. Their servers do this all the time; it's ridiculous. Right now, it's Monday morning and the NA server is rubberbanding us so hard that the game is unplayable. I seriously doubt the servers are so popular on a Monday morning.

Because all servers weren't down so people who got in appreciate all the free stuff they gave away.

I just spoke my mind friend. I will bash away at companies that can't hold their sh1t together on their own event. Especially successful multi million companies like HIRIP here which should have been cash-strong to hold their own d1ck at least three years ago.. You feel ?

We should start some hashtag sh1t. #donatefunds4HIREZwww.3rdworldwoodenboxclinic.gotr ekt
