Question Do you think Walls are CC?

After digging around on the Wiki to see what classifies as a CC, I noticed Walls were not included.

    See here: https://smite.gamepedia.com/Crowd_Control

Now, for all intents and purposes, for me personally I'm kinda surprised it's not listed here. As anyone who's been on the wrong side of a Ymir wall can conclude, it's at the very least a deterrent or soft CC (Root is considered a soft CC for example).

    So what does everyone think?

I think it's a soft CC, preventing movement and/or trapping enemies against the wall is quite...controlling.
What do I put here now?

So are minions cc because they block movement? Are normal map walls and structures?

If your criteria is blocking movement, then surely those count as well.

Walls don't prevent you from turning round and moving elsewhere. Like normal map walls, you can get around that denial of area by leaping or blink. Cc denies you the use of certain abilities or movement, walls don't.

crowd control, by definition, effect the character control that players have directly. walls dont do that. they dont affect your input for controlling your character.
You may think all gods have huge amounts of courage, but only xbalanque has the balls to use them as weapons.

It may not technically be CC but it sure feels like one at times.

Ever been trapped between a normal wall, a Thor wall, and a Thor? Unhappy times.
What do I put here now?

CC is a status effect. Walls are deployables. They are no more CC than flamingos are amphibians.

The only main grey area I see is two things.

One is that said walls are player deploy-able and thus controlled.

The second being that, comparing to a soft CC like Root, you can still leap away and use some abilities just like if Ymir dumped his wall in front of you. Not denying everyone else's statements, just more or less inquiring on these two points.

"Crowd Control" isn't named for its ability to be controlled by its user. It's called that because it controls crowds. By definition, CC must be a status effect, and it must outright prevent an action. Roots prevent movement. Walls do not.
