    That's not a tank meta. The tank meta was S2, where tanks never died and where defense was more potent. You're describing tanks being able to jungle by virtue of being versatile gods overall. That's not a bad thing; in fact, it's quite the contrary--gods being able to fill multiple roles is desirable because it makes for more flexibility in team comps.

    I think it's actually more a warrior meta - although I'd say a few guardian's are more warrior then guardian (artio, fafnir, xing tian) in that what used to separate warriors from tanks was warriors got better sustain (health regen) and damage but worse cc. Many new guardians like the above have the sustain too. On the comp scene when they build 3 tanks you'll generally see at least 1-2 of the above and only 1 real guardian.

    Anyway in that meta burst does not work as if you drop your 1+2 and they are still on 2/3rds health you are stuffed. Hence most mages and assassins, who are burst gods, are weak. What's good against tanks are hunters as they will kill them, they are also very good vs objectives.

    So the counter is to not use burst gods - you have 2 adc's that can use basics to kill anything, a couple of tanks that soak the damage and provide cc, and a proper guardian to rescue the adc's from anything that gets through. In team fights you then separate the adc's so nothing can burst them both at once, put the defensive guardian in the middle to rescue either, and the tanks up front to initiate and setup the targets for the adc's to kill.

    I think its cause tank items (some of them) are a little op. Like shogun having CCR. Or bulwark having shield and nice hp. Its a bit to easy to stack up on lots of health, countering more bursty Gods. Urchin might be fine now but maybe it also needs like 50 health less (and less mana). Same with frostbound, 25-50 health less. Void stone should not have health at all I think but since the phys def tree is so good maybe still. Nor that other physical aoe item. Witch blade I'm unsure off. That range of items at 100hp feel a little weird to me. I think all tank items needs a good look, like void shield was looked at early and pesti also had its turn I think, winged was taken care off. But shoguns and some others are still a bit bloated. Hide of nemean maybe a bit to much phys prot etc. Void shield nerf was at like 10 or 20 prots. That is the range of nerfs I think is needed to some very used tank items. Like 10-15% less in stats be it in prot or health depending on the item.

    And hunters counter health tanks the best since they have access to qins.

    Osiris is meta cause he can tank and wield qins at the same time.

    I honestly don't know why everyone's treating it like a tank meta, it's a hunter meta with guardians providing more effective peel and magical damage backup for said hunters. Anyone who thinks it's a warrior meta or anything like that is 3 months behind in time.

    It's because it's a hunter meta that we are seeing warriors in the jungles. It's to dangerous and risky to send assassin's in the games with how strong hunters are.

    To relly on the spl team is dumb, they are 5 people who have trained together like normal people dont and they are all communciation

    In a normal game Arachne goes 20/1 every game, but she isnt considered op because she dosnt work in spl?
    In normals she can snowball and destroy people cause everyone is uncoordinated, but in spls she doesnt work because people coordinate

    In spls we can see gods that people usually dont pick in normals like Zeus, no one plays zeus in normal cause they end up getting focused, while in spl Zeus is considered a strong midlaner since he have so much dmg and controll
