HiRez made no attempt to engage the community [Guess The Date Game]

In August, HiRez appeared for one day to engage the forums. In September, HiRez made no attempt to engage the community. This is a common pattern, so this provides opportunity for... a game.

The rules of this game are simple:

• Guess the dates on which a HiRez representative might engage with the community. The participant may PICK A MAXIMUM OF THREE DATES. The participant will receive 2 points for every correct vote.
• When the participant votes for more than three dates, only the first three votes are valid (unless stated otherwise by the participant in a post). If the participant votes for less than three dates, he or she may state the rest of his or her chosen dates in a post.
• Engagement in the stickied "Ask the Community Managers" thread counts for 1 point as that thread is a tool to placate and (unsuccessfully) shroud non-involvement on the forums.
• Involvement with the community does not include carrying out routine tasks, e.g. posting skin sale announcements. This is worth 0 points.
• Empty words (e.g. saying that they will post more often) invalidate all points for that day.
• Only votes before 1 October (EST) are valid. Despite this, you are still free to participate this game and vote.
• No one wins, certainly not the forums... obviously.

Funny thing is apart from Savvy the "community team" they've enlisted seem to give zero fucks about the community - they're just there to tick boxes. I mean seriously what do they even do for a living except retweet stuff now and again?

People were rough on PonPon but I hope those people see what they're missing. I'll wager prob no one will engage the forums until December even they want to push season 5 stuff... Even then it will be "see Reddit for the details".

I can't agree on "apart" anything. If you look at their post history, there's no exceptions to be found. They are all ticking boxes here at the moment.

But yeah, PonPon wasn't a box ticker. And the other one was Kaostic, also good. That's pretty much it for my time here.

SMITE is an awesome game

But they arent going to get anywhere not listening to feedback about their game

Maybe this is why the game is still not a big MOBA and the competitive scene is non existant
