That would drive me mad. I'll move my fingers around a general area of the keyboard no problem, but to stretch my index finger over to the 7, 8 and 9 or even, god forbid, shift my wrist a centimeter to the right? I'd rather kill myself.
you're mistaking lane dominance and priority with pressure. while sometimes they work together they are not the same thing. if it was, then junglers would literally have 0 pressure and pressure would end as soon as the laning phase ends as with lane dominance. but it doesn't
pressure is the area around a character that they can control and influence. good example of this is amaterasu. in the early game she has very little pressure but as the game progresses and she gets more items the amount of pressure she applies is greatly increased while someone like chaac has a lot of lane dominance and earlygame pressure, his can only decrease as the game progresses when compared to amaterasu
this video is a good video to describe pressure. it's not smite but the information in the first half of the video is applicable to all mobas*
now that you know what pressure is i don't think i need to explain that having more movement speed allows you to pressure the map more than someone with no movement speed
now if you wanted to do an actual criticism of travellers shoes. i got one and i know why its not bought.
the prevelance of speed buff and the relative small map when compared to other mobas highlights diminishing returns of more movement speed if speed buff is readily available. the availability of speed buff is able to push travellers shoes out of the meta entirely because the buyer sacrifices nothing by opting for more expensive shoes with an on demand free speedbuff on the map which would be wasted if they bought travellers shoes

i need to make it clear that objectively speaking raijin is the most attractive god in this game
I play games to avoid using muscles.
Fair point on the ESDF thing, but I've been using WASD for over half my life and I don't adapt well to change. This same principle prevents me from driving anywhere outside of the United States. Lives are at stake for both of those things.
