thing with chronos is that you gotta commit really deep to land his 3 vs someone that learnt the most basic juking or have a team that set you up but then any God can work. Also his 1 is not that easy to land especially vs faster Gods, one of the hardest skill shots in the game, given the small aoe and cast time. Pretty much need the 3 to land it but for that again you need to commit deep and he is squish so he dies easily when doing that. His ult can pull him out sure but then he is as prominent as SWK who can only really commit and initiate by himself comfortably once every ~70 ish sec where as most mages can put much more pressure.

Or, you know, you could actually lead the target slightly or predict where they're going to go and hit them with it.

Yeahhhhh no. His 1 is NOT hard to hit with, if you're even remotely skilled, unless you're trying to land it at extreme range on a high-speed target. Again, just lead the target or predict where they're going to be .5 seconds later.

You're underestimating Chronos by a lot. He's no squishier than most mages, and less squishy than a lot of them due to his speed and cc, let alone his ability to reset. "Most mages can put much more pressure?" Not really. Most mages are HELPLESS once their abilities are on cooldown. Chronos can actually box people with his basics.

Counting the effects, she has 20 compared to Artio's 18. And this is with listing Damage twice for her 1 and 3, and Slow twice for her 3.

    I'll relist Scylla.

    Passive - Gain power (1)

    Her 1 - Root (2), Cripple (3), Damage (4)

Her 2 - Slowing Area (5), Magic Prot Reduce (6), Damage (7), Area Denial (8), Slow after hitting Enemies (9)

    Her 3 - Ward (10), Sees past Line of Sight (11), Teleport (12), Free Mp5 (13)

Her Ult - Movespeed (14), Damage (15), Reset on Kill (16), CC immunity (17)

    17.

This is when I don't count her gaining AoE CC at max rank, Double Movespeed at max rank, increased range at max rank = 20.

-shrugs- it depends on how you want to count.

Artio can be 15 or 18, Scylla can be 17 or 20. Heck she can be 18 too, if I just list "gain bonus effect after max ability" on her passive.

So...Scylla and Artio are basically equally bloated. Huhuhu.
What do I put here now?

cause people run in straight lines or what? The 1 is telegraphed clearly as well, when u see it you just juke around, sure he might get lucky and predict your turn sometimes but most times no. its enough they turn like 50 degrees and you will miss it. It can be done sure. I might hit 3/5 of my chronos 1s, but then when it really matters I might miss it and if its a ne zha I'm aiming for that is coming for me I am dead the second she looks at me. Chronos has little room to make mistakes and I don't feel his kit makes upp for it.

Also any other mage can get poly and cycle spells in a way they have plenty of dmg to put out between CDs. Sure Chronos can box a bit, what a great trade of for having 2 dmg spells. Where as some mages have 3-4 spells that hit hard where one of them (the ult) hit really hard, and most mages also have much better aoe. Chronos can never really expect to hit more then 1 God with his 1 if he does the enemy is tarded. So he is a single target mage with less dmg then aoe mages, the upside is his ult but I feel it should have half its cast time as well, way to often he gets burst down quickly to not use it. The boxing might make upp for it over time but in most cases its just safer to dump your shit and gtfo as a mage cause you don't wanna stay and stare down/box a ne zha or smth like that.

I think chronos needs like 30% faster traveling 3 and cast times on 1 and 4. Then he be alright.

When was the last time I saw chronos in arena or clash, early 2016? And sure a really good player that is skilled with chronos can make him work just as you can make all Gods in smite work if you play really well. There is a reason though he never gets picked in casuals.

ok I take chronos back, polynomicon is all you really need to make him work, also did his 1 get a buff in cd? feels liks its cd is extremely short these days, maybe I just remember it wrong.
