Why can melee gods buy Atalanta's Bow?

Item restrictions are only in place to prevent gods being broken af.

So far, no role of melee god has proven to be broken enough to warrant a restriction from a specific item/item path.

Only Hunters have shown to be broken with certain items, hence being the only role to receive restrictions.

did you see Bakasura with both katana and this bow? he is impossible to get away from, even with speed buffs like Kuku 2 or Sol 3, because even when you use speed buff, he is still move faster... isn't this thing broken?

No, because he's Baka and he doesn't really bring much to the table other than damage and mobility. Let him have that, I say.

Because there is no point restricting item choices in unnecessary ways to certain subdivisions of the magical/physical split.
Its like Golden Bow. People wanted it to be melee only but they just removed it instead.

There is no reason as to why the melee or ranged classes should get more varied item choices unless it solely for balance, and in most cases the difference in balance is minute.

Why not? There's no reason to restrict an item to ranged only, when they're the ones who should get the weaker item selection.

why I don't mind seeing hunters moaning and groaning I do kinda see his point, but then imo they should have a tree of items for each class that only that class can use. it would def make things more interesting if u took the bow tree away from everyone but hunters, only the rings could be used by mages, katana only for sins,

This would make too much sense, its easier to allow melee with bows to confuse new players.

No different that Baka with Fatalis + Frostbound.

Or Fatalis + other movement speed items (Such as Heartseeker/SCS/Masamune)

Or really just Fatalis on its own... That's literally what its designed to do, make it a pain to get away from the wielder... Which is why it's so stupid on Hunters whom have a ton of advantages and mobility and CC to secure damage anyway...

When was kuku ever getting away from a Baka with fatalis? Also I don't ever wanna hear shit about sol's 3 that ability is bullshit and if you can't survive as her with that then you suck. Plus sol gets the new shaman's ring which in my experience is far more broken than an assassin with the bow

IT's already stated that Ullr can't buy it due of him being an hunter.

Anyway; Melee characters are easier to deal with than ranged, since they have to be in extremly close range for deal AA damage, and this can also be dangerous for them.

That's dumb...He should be allowed to buy it and use it.Cause he is a melee god.Doesn't Hi-Rez understand how bad of a idea it would be to use hastened on him like that?It's literal suicide.
