    towers are underpower

    Im tired of mages and hunter diving towers 2:30 mins in game kill me then leave, towers needs to be respected. In league almost no one dares to do dives like they do on smite because they actually do damage yet on smite towers are a joke, they are going to buff their health but why they are so useless

    Buffing towers is taking the game to wrong direction, it just prolongs the already too long and boring "both teams look at each other for 20m"
    And it is Players job to defend objectives, not vise versa. In conclusion Hi Rez does not play their game and has no idea what they are doing. But hey lets keep adding skins instead of playing and fixing the problems

    @OP is there some reason why you your team) let them dive you at 2m mark?

    They are fine as is.

    They are supposed to objectives to fight under as the defending team, not to do the work for you.


    Why do you need 60 FPS? The human eye can only see 64 megabytes of RAM.

    The tower damage buff that you want don´t change early game dives because the tower´s attack speed doesn´t allow it.
    You should be able to tank 5 seconds of tower aggro at 2.30.
    They dives from a mage don´t take that long which means they hit their damage the first two seconds and if they don´t get a kill they leave.
    You need to double the tower damage to deny early game dives which is not good for the speed of the game(longer games because harder tower siege)

    First of all they can´t dive you early as long you didn´t missplay and for that you should get punished.
    Your tower is an objectiv which delays the way to the Titan.
    It´s not a safezone where you can hangout if you got poked out by the enemy´s.

    P.s In League of Legends you should be able to tank 4 seconds of tower aggro.If you play it right you can tower dive early.

    I completely disagree with this, I actually like longer games. You seem to just want combat gladiator style, and there's a game mode for that.

    I do think buffing tower damage would be bad with current ease in minion wave clear though, if a ra can 1 minion wave and it instantly clears then how are you supposed to break towers if their damage is high enough to scare everyone away from it? If it wasn't so easy to kill minions, therefore you could always use minions to attack towers, then I could see a buff to their damage being acceptable. As is though, you'd just be forced to wait till the opponent comes out or you are 30 minutes in and minions have gotten strong enough that clearing is actually getting difficult(though that goes both ways).

    They're "Useless" because they're meant to be objectives for YOU to defend. Not safespaces for you to hide behind.

    Why? Well, because the tools to make them actual threats don't really exist in Smite (Other MOBA's will use dedicated "Pusher" archetypes to inflict massive damage or otherwise utilize wave/jungle minions to tank them and simultaneous remove backdoor protections)

    The flip side is unlike other MOBA's, Phoenixes respawn. Meaning you're not constantly getting pushed in if you fall behind and basically screwed unless the enemy throws. (I've never understood that particular aspect of MOBA's, where killing the enemy Barracks makes you, the winning team, get stronger minions that give less gold... Like, way to hamstring any comeback potential before it even has a chance...)

    Phoenixes are there to help protect you and the Titan. Towers are not.

    It's much like how a Hunter can solo Gold Fury by mid-game if they have Devo's. Yes, its an objective, but it's really just there to feed people gold when they have the chance to take it. That's how Smite works, it throws gold at people until a team gets ahead enough to get Fire Giant and push down Phoenixes and Titan. There's far less tactics that many other games, just get farm, do teamfights and that's about it (There are some intricacies to maximizing farm, but not quite to the same level as other games can provide)

    Honestly, i say make every 4th + 1 shot stronger and aoe

    so, tower shots 3 times then shots a strong shot that does ALOT more dmg this will punish those staying long under tower, plus perhaps make this single shot penetrating so it ignores 25% defense or something

    then the next shot isnt at 8th its at 9 so +1
    and make that small aoe

    then grow the aoe from taht point on and make the powerful shots more frequent, make the aoe leave a fire trail behin that if ppl step in will burn quickly lose hp like standing in lava pool.

    This would make tower fights more interesting, coz u can still dive just the same but you cant dive forever with 2-3 protection items like right now, doing that will take more skill.
    ofc u can still dive well, but after the 9th shot the shots get more frequent and more powerful.


    They should really get more frequent, else whats teh point of towers?
    i mean think about it, the towers are currently friggin weak, they should not allow ppl to endlessly stay under them, they should adapt so the longer enemies stay the more damage they do, so say if a guardian takes the risk of taking out 20 shots, make it so by the time he leaves if a teammate is within range thats squishy the extra damage will be applied to him if the tower shots him unless the tower is reset by everybody leaving its range.

    I like them how they currently are. Also dont towers already have increased damage the longer it's targeting someone? Making them stronger will just drag the game on longer and make it easier for late game gods.

    Yes towers do already do increased damage the longer it targets the same person, it is easy to reset it but still if people are willing to defend their opponents aren't likely to step out just to immediately step back in again. Especially since the majority of people tanking towers are melee, so resetting it isn't as easy for them. Though making it harder to reset by removing all targets before it resets isn't a horrible idea.
