    I mean, if you're talking about Deathbringer at 3200 then yeah, that's a significantly more expensive item. But is significantly more powerful.

    Even against a 3000 health target where Qins adds 120 base damage, DB will add about 100 damage and give more reliable crits (Which means more WD and PS proc uptime to boot).

    I've not seen any Hunter going Qins for a while. Really I only see Qins on Baka and Kali. Especially when Hunters can safely go triple crit items and do insano levels of damage output irregardless of their targets health pool.

    Qins is not really a good excuse for Zhong being garbage.

    Neither is "Being ganked" a reason for Hel being garbage (There are many more popular Mages being used right now that have LESS mobility than Hel, who has her 25% MS on her 3 and can build into Regrowth pretty quickly as it's only 2k and then get 65% MS on her 3...)

    Like, Zeus, Poseidon, Vulcan and Nu Wa all have arguably worse mobility than Hel. None of them have a self heal, or a 12 second CD Beads either. Guess they're all worse than garbage too /s
    Qins is good on its own, you need multiple crit items for it to be worth anything.

    That would mean something if Crit items weren't good items on their own.

    Some of the highest power on a single item in the game and competitive amounts of attack speed make them pretty decent items alone.

    Crits are just adding to them making them amazing. Which is why 2-3 crit items is seen on pretty much every Hunter these days. Even Ability Hunters pick up a couple of Crit items late game because why not have effectively 152% scaling on your basic attacks along with ~100 power from 2 items alone.

    It's one of the reasons why I've been thinking about the idea of crit items not having power, or having minimal power on them, with higher crit chances to compensate. So you're not building a decent item and getting the bonus of crits on top, but needing to have a good build first and THEN you pick up crits to push it over the edge.

    One. Crit. Item. Is. Not. Good. Say it slowly, or have someone fluent read it to you and translate.

    No crit item is good on its own, there are other items that give plenty of power that offer more than a singular crit item. You need stacking crit chance to be relevant. Wind demon rarely procs on its base crit rate, you need more than that.

    Yet, one crit item has ousted the staple of Ichaival for early game ADC play. It's also the crit item with the lowest crit chance.

    For crits to be major, yes you need to get at least a second one.

    However, a single crit item isn't bad on its own. Even if its crits are unlikely to be relied upon, a lot of the early game is about occasional pokes where a random crit can put you in a significant lead.

    They're decent and because they have compounding power, why not rush multiple crit items (Hence the current meta where AA Hunters build Poisoned Star and Wind Demon in their first 3 items)

    Why not make a build that utilizes 3 crit items? Especially as a Hunter because they don't need to build defence so they can go 3 crit items, 2 pen items and boots no problem.

    Hence why I mostly see Qins on melees, who need that 1 item wonder because they have to fit in defences.
