Californians & Liberals that are protesting Trump

So. Just saw news that people are protesting against trump presidency even though they didn't know how it will be. They reject the bigotry of Trump, yet now in droves reflecting the very thing they sought to fight against.

Also they are burning stuff as well.

What do you guys think about the possible escalation of the situation?

Over 2015 and 2016... I think people are getting crueler to one another. Sad really, considering during the end of 2015 for New Year's hope in Forums, I wrote people be nicer to one another. Guess we can't have good things

I can't help but see a healthy dose of hypocrisy, with the protests, as well as the media's coverage of it. It was just a few weeks ago that Trump was getting a great deal of heat for his less-than-gracious response to the question of "will you accept the results of this election"? Now that the election is over, and he has won by every measure of how elections have been determined in this country; the very same people that gave him heat for suggesting that he wouldn't accept the results, are actually refusing to accept the results.

With the whole "he is not my president!" battlecry, they are quite literally denouncing democracy.

All I see is a group of peole that are used to getting what they want, not getting what they want. They are only reacting in the way they know how.

Plus Californians are considering seceding. They won't last long without y'know, money from the U.S. Government (You might've heard that they would be the 6th largest economy if they secede, but that is because they have money from the federal government allowing them to spend for gdp growth, without the funding they will go broke fast or have to cut a lot of things out.)
Or without a decent military force.

I can assure you that California isn't going to secede. I had to google what you were talking about and it's just the media pushing garbage news.

As for the protests, at this point it's just looting and vandalism.

I know it's just like 5 people saying they should, as clearly no thought was actually put into this idea ( I mean, you have to get the proposal approved by around 75% of congress AND something like 37 states.

California has Silicon Valley. One of the highest revenue and tax producing income areas for the entirety of America. As each state also has its own regional taxation, it'll do fine without Washington.
