nah considering average channel time and all that ults are even for ymir does more dmg but also takes dmg and can have people avoid it while bacchus adds the cc.
is rather for their 3 cause ymir just freezes multiple people instantly while bacchus will at most stun 2 people if not interrupted and it's also a way shorter stun

1-Bacchus since he get high true damage reduction with his passive and got 2 hard cc (knock up + stun) and one soft (intoxication)
2-Ares since he can easily shut escapes down while having an awesome ult and being able to 100-0 anyone.
3-Khumba because he got extremely easy CC while being able to deal huge damage easily too.
4-Geb because a shield that clear cc is really usefull in teamfight and his initiation with his ult that can remove 1/3 of several ennemies life is awesome.
5-Sobek cause his throw back is very usefull to set kill, in addition he's able to kill by himself and got a selfheal.

Athena is very too much dependant on her damage dealers even if she get the best low cd crowd control of the game.

I put Bacchus, Terra, Geb, and Athena (no particular order). No fifth best. Last spot can be between Xing Tian, Sobek or Ymir.
I value Kumbha higher than most people would because his kit allows him to be very flexible. When jumping into the cesspool of solo queue you never know what type of teammates you will have and Kumbha can adapt to them all and perform well. He can compliment a highly aggressive team with constant set-ups, purification pops, and hard dives with blink (though unlike other guardians he doesn't need blink). He does a great job of protecting a team of passive wussies with his chain of cc while punishing overextended enemies. In games where nobody on his team is paying attention to the portal Kumbha has no problems playing the farm game and he can do it quickly enough (w/ his 1) to still enable him to assist nearby teammates. To top it all off, if CC just isn't enough he can sacrifice tankiness for damage and pull a Bacchus on a poor squishy with his combo. There are more scenarios, but you get the idea. Kumbha really doesn't have any weaknesses other than his own bad teammates that may ruin his set-ups for others. He's a safe and reliable pick.

Kumbha: blink, mez, ult, smash when target lands, bellyslam to coup de grace.

Geb relies on other players inflicting the dammage, unlike Ares, Bacchus, Kumbha, Ymir, Sobek, Cabrakan.

My top-5 arena guardians, in no real order:

    * Kumbhakarna. Tons of CC, fairly mobile, can set up tons of abilities for other players via root and mez, and his ult can banish an enemy damage dealer or finish people off. Can also be used to get out of CC due to its own brief CC immunity.

    * Ares. No Escape is the main thing that makes him useful in arena, though with the longer blink cooldown he's not the ultimate top pick anymore. Still a solid choice though, if the player is good with him. If not? Ugh.

    * Khepri. With enough cdr his ult is up every 50 seconds or so, and he's got a decent amount of CC, letting him set up enemies. His 2 is underappreciated for the buff it gives your allies.

    * Bacchus. Good initiation, good CC, and tanky. The fat man also has enormous burst with his jump + ult combo. His stun and jump make for good peel, as well.

    * Sobek. With a competent team, every pluck can result in an enemy dying. Good peel, good amount of CC, self-heal, built in anti-healing and tanky.

Not true. Geb's damage, particularly in Arena, should not be underestimated. He just can't reliably burst down opponents like those guardians.

His retarded poke potential in Arena after the buffs makes him a far more consistent damage dealer than a Cabrakan or Ymir.

1-Ares: great in Arena, not so good in other modes.
2-Ymir: pretty decent cc, damage, etc.
3-Terra: good cc, presence in battles, heals...
    4-Fafnir: good cc and damage
5-Sobek: good cc and the chance to isolate people.
