    Damage missing

    Hello,

    I've noticed that damage is missing from match details. In both player damage and minion damage, the numbers don't add up.

    How to test:
    1. Type
      Code:
      /combatlog toggle piped
    2. Launch a custom match against a single bot.
    3. Find him.
    4. Damage him.
    5. Find a jungle camp.
    6. Damage it.
    7. Surrender.


    Before you close the defeat/summary screen/post-game lobby, notice all the damage stats. Now open the log file produced in "%UserProfile%\Documents\My Games\Smite\BattleGame\Logs". Add up all the damage values for gods or minions. Notice how the damage is more than the post-game lobby damage done.

    You can verify that there isn't any extra lines because damage mitigated by gods adds up to the damage mitigated by the single bot in that custom match.

    My combat log shows the exact same damage done as the post-game lobby does.

    What gods are you using specifically?

    It happens with all gods I've tested. That only includes Janus, Thor, and Terra.

    Here is the spreadsheet for the Janus game (Note: second page has separated player damage and sum of damage [12,805])

    I think I may have solved it.

    Methinks killing someone logs the damage as completely done, while the server won't include the "extra" damage in it's post game summation.

    Not going to lie, I wish it also returned the amount of damage ignored in the logs.

    Yeah, that's exactly what happens. We don't count overkill damage as player damage stat-wise. This is mostly because any overkill damage done isn't actually important to the game, so tracking it for achievements and quests isn't really what we would intend.
