    Get virtual box.
    Run windows on a VM
    Play Smite.
It aint that complicated, especially because you have a "custom computer" with what I'm assuming is a decent video card and enough ram to handle a gaming VM.

First of all if you have linux you must deal with that you can play very few games.
Secondly changing platform are too expensive(all that coding things), especially when base players of linux are very small.
Linux is for programmers/casual users not gamers and now you have also PS and Xbox if you dont like Windows.
This feeling when your team is far behind and you have no prospects for late game but for some reason players still doesnt want to surrender - MOBA Cancer.

A very generic response gets no ware. Linux is the future, everything important is just on certain distro like Steam OS. Get with the future or get farther behind.

    +1 for linux support

I stumbled unto this forum when looking to see if there was any news of a port, all I see is a clear NO and would like to see a HiRez employee, hopefully a director, manager, or dev leader shine light as to why there is no port. It is clear and even advertised you guys use Unreal Engine, and being a user myself I can not see why there is any excuse for no port, even more so with Unreal making it so simple you can have a port ready to compile in around half an hour to an hours time. If you guys get stuck pretty easy instructions to follow https://wiki.unrealengine.com/Building_On_Linux and plenty of YouTube tutorials, so unless there is some other legitimate reason, get to porting!

    +1 for Linux.
A vulkan or OpenGL Core would allow the game to be on ALL platforms (including android for the future since phones these days have 6-8 gb ram and 8 cores processors).
