Soul Stone procs twice on Janus

As the title says. If you get a soul stone and hit somebody with both unstable vortexes (his 2) the soul stone procs twice at full power.

It procs on the ability. Since both balls are considered to be one use, unlike Raijin's taiko drums, the damage is applied to them equally. This is because of the way the ability is worded in the descriptions

    Unstable Vortex:
Damage: 90/150/210/270/330 (+70% of your Magical Power)

    Taiko Drums:
Damage per Hit: 120/150/180/210/260 (++50% of your Magical Power)

Ugh, what?! By your logic, bluestone pendant should proc on Ratatoskr for every single acorn! And obviously that is not the case.

Janus ability says in its description that should both balls hit, the second will do only 30% damage. Translated into soulstone: even if it procs a second time, it should only proc for 30% of the of the scaling of the first hit on the second proc.

Secondary blue stone procs just reset the duration of bluestone. Just like the the dot from malice... You don't get more dots, just a refreshed duration. So it does, technically, proc on every acorn.

Soul stone is not going off twice. It adds a flat +60 power to the ability.

Whether that +60 power applies before, or after, the percentage is something that I am not certain of. But I would think it is before.

I'm sorry, but I really have to ask: are you being deliberately dense? Or is this some form of trolling?

First, there are no secondary procs for Bluestone on Ratatoskr. No matter which ability he uses, it procs Bluestone once on the initial hit.

Second, I'm impressed that you can read the description of Soulstone. However, do note, please, that we are currently in the bug reporting thread. And that there is a stark difference between how it should work and how it does work.

ok.. I am mistaken about the bluestone thing. Yes

So.. I went into jungle practice and tried out a few different gods

The secondary damage does show up twice for Janus. You are correct, there.

However... It also shows up after every tick of Nox's Shadow lock, Aphrodite's Love Birds, and Cabraken's Tremors. And yes.. I was mistaken about it's proc on Raijin, as well. Because all three hits trigger the soulstone damage as well.

It seems that the issue is not with Janus, but abilities that hit multiple times. But this isn't a bug.

So on Odin bot Nox with exactly 100 MP ( level1 Soulstone, Shoes of Focus, and Warlocks with 0 stacks) does 52 damage per tick with a level 1 shadow lock. (40 damage + 12 mitigated)

With the soul stone proc she does 62 damage per tick.
    (40 damage+12 mitigated +SS 8 + SS 2 mitigated)

Level 1 Shadow lock does 30+20% MP (in this case 20) per tick damage.

    20% of 160 is 32.

Level 1 Nox with 160 power (add demonic grip to previous build)
Lvl 1 shadow lock now does 48 damage +16 mitigated per tick. for 64

    64-32 = 32

The proc that you are seeing is the difference.

The item is, still, just adding the power to the ability. It is just showing you the extra damage in a separate line.

This is what I was thinking that you were referring to

On Janus, it does seem that the extra damage hasn't been reduced to the 30% ..... because it is still adding the extra damage as if he had 160 power...... So. you might be right there.. Perhaps that is the glitch?

    Sorry bout that
