    Hm... actually, I was way off. Apparently it used to be330 + 50% scaling (currently 280 + 40%), so it was mostly a base damage reduction.

    It also was bugged at one point, causing it to deal magic damage instead, which in turn increases the damage it deals against most targets even more.

    Can't find anything about the AOE Circle being made smaller though. Is my memory tricking me? I am so sure that they nerfed it because it was too easy to hit both archers and enemy gods with it.

    I missed the days people called neither underpowered because she lacked a steroid buff unlike the other hunters.

    Hou Yi

      • Deals 105/165/225/285/345 (+90% of your physical power) damage after the first bounce and 140/220/300/380/460 (+120% of your physical power) after the second bounce.
      • Damage: 70/110/150/190/230 (+60% of your physical power)
      • Stun Duration: 1s
      • Ability Type: Line Target
      • Range: 70

    Both Hou Yi and Apollo trade off their utility, but at the same time they are strong in different fields. Neith is overall strong in the ability aspect. Frankly too strong when placed in other lanes for how good her waveclear is compared to other hunters.
    So guaranteed 230+40% with possibility of 345+90% and another 460+120% in one shot VS one 350+90% (Neith). And 10sec cooldown VS 15sec (Neith) what means that he can use it twice as often. Apollo cooldown is pretty close 11sec VS Neith's 15sec.

    It clearly shows that she already trades off ability cooldowns (+50% penalty to all cooldowns) for... what exactly ? because damage wise they are pretty close. Then she is penalized again, on basic attacks damage, why?

    Yet, her ability damage hits the hardest and hits harder with her weave combo, she even has a high scaling ultimate that's global. Game design 101, trade of for strength, her ability damage exceeds most hunters ability damage without any gimmicks or repercussions.

    She is like a mage, high ability damage also penalizes in a form of CD. Don't forget she scales well with physical damage which all mages can't do and as an adc she hits hard as she does already with her AAs. I play Neith as much as everyone, she hits too hard as is AA wise.

    How is she too safe when her escape is worse version of Hou Yi's escape (which can be delayed + precisely targeted)?

    About CDR, read an above posts, her cooldowns are already 50% longer than other hunters.
