    What if you just queued with a flag, a suggestion, without any changes to the queues? Then people with the same flag would have to decide in an educated fashion (ha). At least it's better than typing fast.

    Here's an idea taken from LoL. What if it allow you to pick role as well? Everyone gets what they want.

    That worked out horribly in LoL, even worse for players who were in small percentage pools defining rank.

    I like how the underlining reason for not wanting to do it is that the population is too small. Why not make the next step in that chain... what you are essentially saying is that the population is too small to absorb the bad idea.

    Because... if it was useful, and a good idea, its something that makes more players play, not something that only sort-of works if you already have enough and then stops working correctly when the players fall off.

    The actual problem is that the game has a design flaw that creates undesirable positions that people don't commonly want to play. If that wasn't an actual thing then you wouldn't need a fancy queue to hide the problem.

    Besides... the only thing the queue really needs to check is not roles, characters, or any of that other bullshit (doesn't matter). Just needs to check to make sure each team brings enough CC.
    Pop up a warning "None of you dipshits managed to select a CC heavy character; this is probably going to suck for all 5 of you"

    The problem with low pop not working with this, is even League, a game with a massive playerbase has really damn long queues for it's version, now imagine SMITE, a much smaller game population wise, they'd lose more players cause they'd get sick of waiting for queues instead of gaining them from this idea
