View Full Version : Making Enfeebling Curse as good as Weaking Curse

I suppose Weaking is getting "nerfed" (you can still get 100% healing reduction) but I don't really care that much about Weaking so much as I care how bad Enfeebling is in comparison. A buff so Enfeebling is the same to auto attacks as Weaking is to healing.

Buff
*Reduce attack speed by 50%
* Prevent Crits
and/or
* Prevent item procs on auto attacks

I quite like the first option - buff the attack speed slow a little, so the effect is more noticeable.

Enfeebling curse is a very good active. Both variations have their place.

If the enemy did a hunter solo or chronos, it can really hurt their performance. It's a good shutdown mechanism against heavy basic attack comps and really screws over hou yi.

I feel like preventing criticals would be a bit much. But I agree that Enfeebling Curse needs a buff, especially compared to Weakening Curse, which still shuts down healers.

Well, it would hurt autos, but that's kinda the point of a counter item. If they don't do something serious like reducing or preventing crits and item effects it might just end up like Hide of the Nemean Lion and be pretty useless.

enfeebling is a great item, I get it more often than weakening.

Considering that it's usually never a choice between the two, as they're not even close to similar, it doesn't really make a difference which you get more. Enfeebling is okay, but it really isn't better than just okay.

The attack speed slow at its current state is nowhere near as good as 40% makes it seem. It works by 'subtracting from your attack speed multiplier', so its effect on high attack speed gods is less than it would be on high attack speed gods.
