New Conquest Map


Season 2 marks the release of a new Conquest Map, highlight features include:

Completely new visual design.
Improved player navigation.
Improved immersion and creature interactions.
Refined Jungle Layout, and new gameplay rules (Listed below).


The Conquest tutorial has had a number of updates and improvements.


Leagues
“Season 1 of League is wrapping up, and in this patch players will be earning their exclusive rewards! In Season 2 we will opening up Conquest League to allow players to queue up with a friend, which was one of our most requested features from Season 1. As a majority of our players prefer to play with friends, we feel this change will increase the population in League, which brings a number of benefits.”


League Rewards have been given out for Season 1.

All League participants have received Icons for the division they completed this round in.
Players who placed in Gold Tier or higher received the Bakasura Rage Skin.
Players who placed in Platinum Tier or higher received the Rage Loading Frame, with indicator of their Tier.


TEAMING: At the start of season 2 we will be allowing teams of two players to queue together in League.

Teamed players cannot enter the League queue if they are placed more than one Tier apart for each other.


At the start of Season 2 we will be adjusting the MMR distribution of league divisions, in order to achieve the correct targeted population percentiles per division. Players may be “soft reset” into a higher division or Tier, but no players will be demoted.
At the start of Season 2, legacy players who did not undergo Qualifying matches (before they were added), and are significantly under placed, will be automatically promoted as if completing qualifications.
Any players who are still in the Qualifying phase with some games played in the past but not enough to actually be placed into a Division will have their rating reset and their previous record cleared in order to start fresh in Season 2.


General Gameplay
“There are several changes happening in the Jungle that are designed to increase aggression and the viability of invading, while also better balancing the buff options available to your team. Although there is now more room for activities, the Jungle is a bit more unsafe. The removal of the mana buffs on the Gold Fury side of Conquest focuses more on choice through itemization and team combinations rather than through buffs. The addition of the new Attack Speed and In Hand Power Buff empowers gods who prefer Basic Attacking, for those who would rather shoot their enemies down.
The harpy camps in the middle of the Conquest map now show up late to the party, and don’t even bring a dessert. They now spawn at the three minute mark instead of at the beginning. The Jungle starts in the beginning of the match are now identical, but it also means your enemies know exactly where you are at the beginning and can punish you for it.”



Jungle Camp Changes (All Maps)

All Jungle camps, including the Fire Giant and Gold Fury, no longer become invulnerable and heal instantly when leashed or reset. They now heal at a rate of 10% of their maximum health value every 1s and are able to be re-engaged during their retreat back to camp.
While leasing or out-of-combat, camp monsters will no longer take damage from sources outside of their leashing area.
A new Attack Speed Buff (Purple) has been added into all maps and provides +15% Attack Speed, +15 Magical In-Hand Power and +12 Physical In-Hand Power. This buff replaces the Speed Buff (Orange) in every map except Conquest, where it replaces the Gold Fury side Mana (Blue) Buff.


Jungle Camp Changes (Conquest)

Mid Harpy camps now have their initial spawn delayed by 3min.
The Speed Buff (Orange) now only provides movement speed, and not attack speed.
The Power Buff and the Speed Buff on the Order side of the map have been swapped and are now aligned to be on the same side of the map.
Both Mana Buff camps on the Gold Fury side of the map have been removed and replaced with the new Attack Speed Buff (Purple).
Jungle camps now have introduction animations, as well as reaction animations. Note: The introductions have been improved over the course of PTS, and camps are now “hittable” at the correct map timings.
Jungle camps and minions will no longer target each other, allowing minions to return to lane quicker.


Titans

Titans will no longer take damage from any source outside of its leashing range while being leashed or standing at its spawn point.


Fire Giant:

The Fire Giant now uses both Melee and Ranged attacks.
The Fire Giant now uses a new set of abilities, and has a new encounter.


Towers and Phoenixes

Fixed an issue that will allow for faster targeting of towers and phoenixes onto players.


Lane Mechanics:

Assist reward range for minion and camp kills reduced from 80 to 60.
The time to earn rewards from tagging (damaging) minions and camps has been reduced from 10s to 5s.



New Items
“Ooh, shiny. Check out these new items. New Actives and Starting items add diversity to builds, and we’ve introduced several items that have active elements while not actually filling your Active Item slots. Give them a try!”



Achilles’ Spear

Upon activation gain +30% attack speed, and +35% Lifesteal, and +30% Movement Speed for 5s. You take +30% additional damage from all sources while this is active. Cost 600.
This is a new Active Item that branches off of Sprint I.


Bluestone Pendant

+15 Physical Power, +90 Health, +5 MP5. Passive - Restores 4% of your missing mana every 5 seconds. Cost: 800
This is a new starter item.


Celestial Legion Helm

This item has been significantly reworked.
PASSIVE - Absorbs the additional Critical Strike Damage from the next Critical Strike from a Basic Attack. This effect cannot occur more than once every 15 seconds. When this occurs, you gain +40 Magical Power for 3 seconds.
Cost reduced from 3250 to 2850.


Heartward Amulet

60 Magical Protection, 300 Health, Passive - Aura, +20 Physical Protection, +20 MP5. Cost 2100.
This is a new Tier 3 item that branches off of Silver Talisman.


Lotus Crown

+60 Magic Power, +30 Physical Protection, +20 MP5, PASSIVE: Any gods affected by your heals gain +20 Physical and Magical Protection for 5 seconds. Cannot be cast on the same target again for 10s. Cost: 2100.
This is a new Tier 3 item that branches from Jade Mountain Helm.


Runic Shield

This item has been significantly reworked.
Passive Aura - All enemies within range 55 have their Magical Power reduced by 50.
Reduced magical protection from 70 to 50.


Shield of Regrowth

This item has been significantly reworked.
+20 Physical Power, +20 Physical Protection, +10% Cooldown Reduction. PASSIVE: After healing yourself from an ability, you gain +25% Movement Speed for 2 seconds. This cannot occur more than once every 10 seconds. Cost 1800.


Shield of the Underworld

Upon activation you reflect 40% of all damage you take, before mitigations, for the next 5s back to it’s owner as Magical Damage. While this is active, enemies cannot lifesteal from you. Cooldown 60s. Cost: 600.
This is a new Active Item in its own tree.


The Crusher

+40 Physical Power, +20 Physical Penetration, Passive - Each Basic Attack against towers and phoenixes grants a stack that increases your Attack Speed by 6% and Movement Speed by 3% for 2 seconds. (Max 5 stacks). 2300G
This is a new Tier 3 item building off of Heavy Mace.




Item Changes
“The existing items from Season 1 were not safe from our sweep of changes. Some items have been adjusted slightly, some made more accessible through price reduction, and others reworked entirely. Along with this, boots and shoes have been reworked significantly and have had their price reduced so there’s always a pair of kicks for you.
The Recommended Items, Auto-Buy, and Auto-Skill systems have also been completely updated for Season 2 as well, so we encourage you to try new gods you may not have tried before with the help of the recommended tab.”



Aegis Pendant

No longer provides damage reduction after the invulnerability effect fades.


Ancile

Now provides 8% Cooldown Reduction at base.
Cooldown Reduction per stack reduced from 0.25% to 0.2%.


Asi

This is now a Tier 2 Item.
Cost reduced from 1850 to 1780.


Bloodforge

Cost reduced from 2625 to 2265
Lifesteal decreased from 20% to 15%
Max stacks reduced from 5 to 3
Lifesteal per stack increased from 2% to 3%


Charged Bow

Passive Changed - Now procs chain lightning every 4th Basic Attack hit.
Reduced Attack Speed from 25% to 20%.
Reduced cost from 1350 to 1200.


Charged Morningstar

Physical Power reduced from 25 to 20.
Mana reduced from 200 to 150.
Cost reduced from 1715 to 1200.


Cloak

Removed Health from this item
Reduced price to 700G


Death’s Toll

This item no longer provides 3% Attack Speed.
Increased Health gained per hit from +5 to +6
Decreased Mana gained per hit from +1.5 to +1


Doom Orb

Cost reduced from 1900 to 1790.
This is now a Tier 2 Item.


Draining Blade

Removed from the game.


Dynasty Plate Helm

This item is now a Tier 2 item.
Cost reduced from 1900 to 1750.


Eye of Providence

Fixed God voice overs not playing when placing wards with this active.


Frost Bound Hammer

Heath reduced from 400 to 300.
Enemies hit by your Basic Attacks now also have their attack speed slowed by 15%.
Fixed typo with word “Attack”.


Greater Aegis

No longer can be used while under the effects of crowd control.


Greater Purification

Cooldown reduction reduced from 5s to 3s.


Hunters Bow

Removed from the game.


Hydra’s Lament

Cost reduced from 2850g to 2150g.
Reduced Physical Power from +50 to +30.
Buff duration increased from 5s to 8s after an ability is cast.
Recharge time reduced from 4s to every 3s.
Passive changed to increase the damage from your next Basic Attack by +25% after using an ability.
This proc now only works on next Basic Attack, not next successful Basic Attack.


Hydra’s Star

Cost reduced from 1400g to 1000g.
Reduced Physical Power from +30 to +20.
Buff duration increased from 5s to 8s after an ability is cast.
Recharge time reduced from 4s to every 3s.
Passive changed to increase the damage from your next Basic Attack by +10% after using an ability.
This proc now only works on next Basic Attack, not next successful Basic Attack.


Ichaival

Now provides +10 Physical Penetration.
Price increased from 1650 to 1700.
This is now a tier 2 item.


Light Blade

Attack Speed increased from +10% to +15%.


Malice

Updated tooltip to be more clear regarding critical strikes refreshing.


Mark of the Vanguard

Health increased from 100 to 150.


Magi’s Blessing

Cost increased from 2100 to 2250.
Removed Crowd Control Reduction from this item.


Magi’s Cloak

Removed Crowd Control Reduction from this item


Odysseus’ Bow

New visual fx and sounds.
Passive Changed - Now procs chain lighting every 4th Basic Attack hit.
Price reduced from 2650 to 2450.


Polynomicon

Buff duration increased from 5s to 8s after ability cast.
Recharge period reduced from every 4s to 3s.
Additional damage on inhand increased from 50% to 60%.

Protected Recall

Removed from the game.


Pythagorem’s Piece

Now branches off of Talon Trinket.
This item no longer provides Mana.
Now provides +10% Cooldown Reduction.


Qin’s Sais

Reduced Attack Speed from 25% to 15%.
Reduced passive effect from 5% to 4% of maximum health.


Radiant Orb

Removed from the game.


Runic Shield

Reduced magical protection from 70 to 50.
This item has a new passive: Passive Aura - All enemies within range 55 have their Magical Power reduced by 50.


Smithy’s Hammer

Cost increased from 1050 to 1300


Spiked Shell

Removed from the game.


Spirit Robe

Increased Physical Protection from +10 to +40
Decreased Magical Protection from +55 to +40.
No longer provides Health.


Sovereignty

Physical Protection reduced from 65 to 55.
Health reduced from 450 to 200.
Price reduced from 2550 to 2100.
Aura now provides +25 HP5 in addition to +20 Magical Protection.


Tower Shield

This item no longer has Magical Protection.
Physical Power reduced from 30 to 20.
Cost reduced from 1500 to 1200.


Void Shield

Cost reduced from 2700 to 2600.


Watcher’s Gift

This item now provides: +100 Health, Passive: Being within range 60 of a minion death without dealing the killing blow awards +4 bonus gold, +10 health, and +5 mana.
No longer provides +1 GP5


Winged Blade

Health reduced from 350 to 300.


Witch Blade

This item no longer provides movement speed.
Adjusted so it no longer stacks with Attack Speed slows from other items.

+18% Movement Speed, +20 Physical Power, +15% Attack Speed. Cost: 1500.


Talaria (Tier 3)

+18% Movement Speed, +10 Physical Power, +28% Movement Speed and +25 HP5 while out of combat. Cost: 1500.



Magical Shoes Tree Changes

+6% Movement Speed, Cost 300.


Magic Shoes (Tier 2)

+12 Movement Speed, +20 Magical Power, Cost: 900


Shoes of the Magi (Tier 3)

+18% Movement Speed, +65 Magical Power, +250 Mana, Cost: 1550.


Reinforced Shoes (Tier 3)

+18% Movement Speed, +20 Magical Power, +100 Health, 30% Reduction to all crowd control durations. Cost: 1450.


Shoes of Focus (Tier 3)

+18% Movement Speed, +30 Magical Power, +15% Cooldown Reduction. Cost: 1500.


Travelers Shoes (Tier 3)

Gods - Balance/Updates/Fixes
“Bees, crocodiles, and lions oh my! The Hunters have seen a reduction in their clear but an increase in their ability to be dominant and scale into late game. Certain gods have also been adjusted up or down based on their performance over last season in an effort to encourage dynamic team compositions.”

Fixed water clone not showing at High and below video settings.

Damage reduced from 40/60/80/100/120 to 30/45/60/75/90 per Dragon.
Increased Magical Scaling on Basic Attacks from 28% to 30%.


King of the Eastern Seas

Fixed ability not going on cooldown when Ao Kuang uses Aegis just before ascending.

Fixed return pounce applying or removing open wounds.

Fixed a typo with the word “lighting”.

Can no longer cancel this ability while active.



Chang’e

General

Fixed some issues where the Jade Rabbit wouldn’t play voice over when purchasing items.
Fixed some of the extra emotes not playing, like destroying Tower/Phoenix etc.



Cupid

General

Base Attack Speed increased from 0.92 to 0.95
Attack Speed per level increased from 1.5% to 1.8%
Fixed super glossy eyes on the Forest Nymph skin in lobby.
Fixed Standard skin defeat animations freezing.


Heartbomb

Fixed a rare cooldown issue where the first explosion wouldn’t detonate.


Share the Love

Mana cost reduced from 60/65/70/75/80 to 50 at all ranks.
Fixed the description not mentioning extra healing gained from the passive.


Fields of Love

This ability no longer causing diminishing returns on itself when it stuns and mesmerizes at the same time.



Chronos

Stop Time

Stop Time now reduces attack speed by 20% while slowing.
Stop Time can no longer be cleansed by slow immunity, and is considered a Stun for the purposes of CC removal.
Cooldown increased from 16/15/14/13/12/11 to 18/17/16/15/14.



Hou Yi

General

Base Attack Speed increased from 0.85 to 0.9
Attack Speed per level increased from 1% to 1.2%


Ricochet

Increased projectile speed.
Fixed a tooltip typo on cooldown.


Divebomb

Hou Yi no longer becomes immune to damage and healing while airborne.
Increase the speed Hou Yi travels.
Hou Yi is no longer rooted upon landing.



Hercules

General

Reduced base in-hand power from 39 to 35.
Reduced in-hand power per level from 2.25 to 2.


Strength From Pain

Reduced Physical Power gained from 30 (+3 * Level) to 30 (+1 * Level).



Kukulkan

General

Fixed his emotes pushing him offscreen while using in lobby.


Whirlwind

Duration of effect increased from 2 to 2.5s.



Neith

General

Enhanced detail of the standard skinned weaves at lower settings.
Base Attack Speed increased from 0.91 to 0.95
Attack Speed per level increased from 1.4% to 1.6%


Spirit Arrow

This ability no longer has its damage and root reduced for successive enemies hit after the first.


Unravel

Enhanced the red outline around the ground targeter from the enemies view.


World Weaver

Fixed the targeter flipping while in colorblind mode.



Ne Zha

General

Fixed some black fx showing on the Diamond skin when using abilities.



Nox

Siphon Darkness

Increased cooldown from 3s to 4s.
Reduced Magical Power scaling from 60% to 50%.


Night Terror

Casting time for this ability increased from 0.25s to 1s.
Significant updates to special FX and sounds have been made for clarity.



Osiris (Minor Nerf)

General

Base Attack speed reduced from 1.1 to 0.95.
Attack Speed per level increased from 0.8% to 1.4%


Judgement Tether

Fixed an issue with targets healing and mana received being reduced.



Poseidon

General

Fixed his water trail fx disappearing when affecting by some abilities.



Ra

General

Reverted back to his previous portrait icon.



Rama

General

Base Attack Speed increased from 0.92 to 0.95
Attack Speed per level increased from 1.4% to 1.7%


Astral Strike

Damage from this ability is now reduced to 75% for each enemy hit after the first.



Sobek

Blessing of the Nile

Increased protections from 5 to 7 per stack.


Lurking in the Waters

Slow increased from 15% to 15/20/25/30/35%.



Sylvanus

Wisps

This ability now only affects gods.



Ullr

General

Base Attack Speed increased from 0.92 to 0.95
Attack Speed per level increased from 1.2% to 1.5%



Vulcan

General

Fixed the Sentry skin turrets always showing crowd control immune glow on.



Xbalanque

General

Base Attack Speed increased from 0.88 to 1


Branching Bolas

This ability no longer toggles off when under the effects of crowd control.





Misc


The recommended item profiles have been updated for all gods, and better reflect competent strategies.
The auto-purchase sequence has been updated for all gods, matching updates to recommended item profiles.
The auto-level sequence has been improved for all gods.
Australia now has an LFG channel called “Looking for Group [OC]”
You can now type a “tag” into the search box on the god screen to filter by other criteria (IE:Roman, Ranged) The filter will not show any gods until the full word is typed in the box though.
Video settings have been renamed to: Minimum, Low, Medium, High, Maximum
Added a visual gamma slider option in Video settings.
Added a new option under Video Settings called Shader Quality.
A new feature has put in place to automatically detect optimized settings for your hardware on a new install of Smite. A new button has also been added under Video Settings to allow existing installs to utilize the suggested settings.
Fixed a handful of bad collisions in the Siege map.
Fixed incorrect info being displayed for receiving match loss when a match lobby fails.
Changed "Creep damage" on End of Match Lobby stats to "Minion damage".
Fixed an issue where players can reload into a dead match where all the players have left.
Renamed “Use Simple Targeting Aid” to “Use 2D ground target”.
League qualifiers are never the first pick, unless everyone is qualifying.
Fixed the combat log window never defaulting to the newest data.


Spectator


Camera starting location is now facing at Chaos side base.
Controller key bindings have been reorganized.
Fixed the wrong radius shown when clicking on wards.
Fixed the Titan’s health bars showing yellow when at 25% and below.

Drybear, in the grand scheme of things, what do these herc and osiris nerfs mean? How bad are they? Im assuming "In-hand power" is referring to auto attacks correct?

I normally agree with most changes you make in patches. But this.. please, rethink this. As somebody who wants to become a good ADC player, I really don't think it's fair that i'm put against somebody who has played hundreds of games with their support (or adc, you support mains)? I just want a fair game for everybody and think the coordination advantages are unfair when I don't have any friends i've played hundreds of games with as a duoqueue, and I don't wordlessly perfectly know their playstyles.

I also don't want Duo Q. This will apparently go live so lets hope that solo q'ers will q with other solos.

Please tell me there is a typo. This makes Apollo's clear 3x better than Anhur's.

If I read that correctly, for Anhur that is 100% damage to first target, 50% for all subsequent; for Apollo that is 100% for first, 85% for second, 70% for 3rd, etc. So the more in a lane Apollo hits with that, the weaker it gets.

I was working on the wiki making a page for this changelog and I couldn't help but noticed tons of errors. Since this is the "grand season 2 update" you should consider fixing up these notes for the actual release. These are the things that need to be changed the most:

-Xbalanque's recolor is mentioned both on the new skins and the updated cards section. If its a substantian enough remake, then it should only be mentioned in new skins. If its not really that much then it should only be mentioned on updated cards.

-Ao Kuang's golden/legendary/diamond skins aren't mentioned on the list.

-You forgot to remove Runic shield from the item changes section.

-There is several price tags that say "G" at the end, when all others just show the number.

-The boots/shoes changes display is inconsistent with eachother, you might want to correct that aswell.

-Apollo's attack speed buff says that it goes from 1.5 to 1.7 when it actually goes from 1.2 to 1.7 (it was buffed twice, remember?)

-Chrono's stop time old cooldowns have 6 levels, instead of 5. (where did tha come from?) Also Chronos should be above cupid on that list.

-Cupid's fields of love bit says "causing" when it should say "causes".

-Osiris' has "(Minor Nerf)" written next to it, that shouldn't be there.

-Poseidon's says "affecting" when it should say "affected".

-There is a LOT of missing "." everywhere, too many too mention. I guess its hard to really notice they aren't there unless you are paying attention, but still.

I love how no one noticed how viable Mercury became.

That aside, gotta love this patch. But still, Serqet is still scary af. But thank GOD Ao has been nerfed. Even though I still think his burst is still incredibly high, he is no where close to as good as he was before. Now we just need some buffs on Hades, SK, and Odin and I'll be happy. Also give Mercury 1000% scaling on his ult for no reason (just kidding of course).

Weird bug.
1) D/c'd from the game, at around 20 seconds before wave spawn, came back in as soon as I could.
2) Could only type a single character in chat, then be unable to type more; As if I clicked off the text box
3) Match finished, no end of the game chat box

Not sure if this is known or not, haven't come across it before in pts or live.

Duo queue in ranked will completely undermine team balance.

If one team has a duo queue and the other doesn't, the one with the duo queue will have a significant advantage.

Imagine the following scenario:

Duo lane 1: duo queue with 50+ games played together

Duo lane 2: solo queues

I propose a simple change:

If one team has a duo queue, the other team must have one as well.

I normally agree with most changes you make in patches. But this.. please, rethink this. As somebody who wants to become a good ADC player, I really don't think it's fair that i'm put against somebody who has played hundreds of games with their support (or adc, you support mains)? I just want a fair game for everybody and think the coordination advantages are unfair when I don't have any friends i've played hundreds of games with as a duoqueue, and I don't wordlessly perfectly know their playstyles.

I agree. I thought about getting more into Conquest and its League (cause it seems Arena League isn't happening) in Season 2. And I love playing ADC and if I can't play ADC, i'll gladly play support.
But now... 1. I probably can't play ADC often enough, cause duos pick them; 2. I can, but will play against duoQers who have better teamwork/experience.
Luckily I'm fine with mid too, but still...

People could use it to block people who they think lower their elo with bad play but the ability to not be matched with people who just flame and rage all the time would make leagues a lot better.

Anhur is now totally useless.
He has the weakest lategame out of all adc, now they managed to give him the weakest early game aswell.
Please changed his spear to 70 % instead of 50 % after the first hit.

This should be a feature for every gamemode.
I don't care about elo but I had a lot of trouble with toxic players recently.
I actually got queued with the same douchebag twice who said that he was gonna supp and then played like a mercury building dmg and stealing our kills. He did the least dmg, got the most kills and mitigated the least dmg... as our brave support :/
People like this could have a lot of trouble if they'd be plonk-listed by half of the community.

This is a great patch, I love the new conquest map and the skins sound nice.
What I really miss is sth. about the flood of douchebag/toxic players that enter smite recently.

All in all: I can't wait for the new season ;)

Wtf, why hasn't Guan Yu recieved a buff??? Literally like no one plays them. You guys really need to get your gods into the correct priority. You need to take a look at how many gods are viable in ranked compared to those that are almost basically non-existent.

There's something wrong when you see the same exact gods in almost every match up. It's stupid.

Hi-Rez guys, please, create a way for us to be able to ROTATE our gods during the game, or at least be able to spin the camera around them! It's very easy, just add a button to be hold that cancels movement... I'm sure there's a lot of people who would like this feature!! :D

As for the patch itself, I think you should do something about Loki... He's too safe for all the damage he can output! If he ults on a mage god its pretty much a guaranteed kill for him while others assassins would have much more trouble (Arachne for example). I'm tired of having to make mage gods completely tank just to not be insta-killed by him...

Underused items were tweaked, but most of these tweaks are not really buffs. The qin's blade change is a straight up nerf to an item which had questionable use already. Most overused items were not changed at all. The issues with mana scaling have remained totally ignored apart from a new starter item for skill-spamming physical gods. I like how soverengty was split into two items, and I like the new magical helmets, but I feel the issue with this patch is it doesn't really FIX anything. Crit items and copy/paste builds were the main issues before and if anything, they will be even worse issues due to the changes made with this patch.

The nerfs to Qin's Sai's and Runic Shield look like a pretty substantial nerf to warrior builds, and a ninja buff to already strong mages. -50 magic power aura is scraping, what, 8 damage off magical basic attacks and 30 damage off most abilities?

Also, if Qin's now does 20% less damage and 50% less attack speed bonus, is the price at least coming down to something like it's old value (2600 gold or so IIRC)?

The Hydra's/Bloodforge/Polynomicron changes reinforce this line. Less damage sustain for physical classes, more burst damage mage meta.

The nerf to Witchblade is a pretty hard nerf to tanking builds in general. It sort of screams "hey, you have to use Reinforced Greaves/Shoes in every buid!"... which doesn't make much sense in light of the Warrior/Ninja Tabi nerfs (that basically force physical classes towards Jotunn's and the mace tree as their only good redux/pen option).

Divebomb nerf... so the point is just to burn mana on moving slower than you could on the ground and not being able to AA? It was already a pretty mediocre ability.

Hunter nerfs/buffs... so the Hunters that were decent early game now are worse early game, but as good or better than the ones who took time to build (currently) late-game? I see where it creates parity, but it seems to limit variation. Oh, except Cupid who just got buffed more everywhere since his kit already emphasized huge AoE bust-damage and hard CC.

Herc's passive nerf might work, but it seems like another workaround to acknowledging that having head-and-shoulders the best CC in the game and the best damage from skills and kill secure of any warrior, might be a little bit of a problem. Though I'm detecting a bit of a theme of ninja-buffing the hard CC + burst damage meta in the overall patch, so maybe that shouldn't be a surprise.

The only thing that is bodering me right now is the speed buff (Orange) in Conquest. As a jungler I can't get it out of my head that we received the worst buff of them all with the new Attack Speed Buff (Purple) that provides +15% Attack Speed, +15 Magical In-Hand Power and +12 Physical In-Hand Power and the Damage Buff (Red) that provides +20% Magical and Physical Power, +10 Magical Power and +5 Physical Power. Now we only have movement speed, and not attack speed, so basic attack junglers like Nem and Kali have an even more difficult early than before and are in a clear disadvantage against a mage or adc with their respective buff. Can we get something more than mov. speed? Pretty Please!

Reading comprehension might be something you need to look into or maybe just using a bit more common sense. Clearly there is no way to possibly abuse a system like this... Right? Wrong, it doesn't take a genius to figure out that all the person looking for the boost would have to do is: level the smurf, get placed, and then have the other person take over the account.

how does the removal of the GP5 items work for support? in other MOBA's (LoL and DOTA come to mind first) supports hardly had any money to spend besides the wards (till lol s3). I really liked that in this game supports could actually get some form of decent money.

Now, it seems like they just can't and you seem to nerf all the tank / support items in effectiveness while lowering the costs. Does this mean more CC / burst mage and assassin combos instead of decent plays? also, how can people get back into the game now?

Nox nerf is horrible, she's not viable at all now. Ult wont reach target unless it's stunned twice. If people can't acknowledge that they got ulted by Nox, which means they can't see "huge dark" around themselves, well then they need glasses or something, doesn't have to do anything with the Goddess;
I don't like Kali being indirectly nerfed again through Qin's and Witchblade's nerf, although Witchblade change is legit;
Aphrodite's new icons are bad, I guess now they're on par with the new card now.
Everything else seems ok/good.

You think you have it rough going against them? Try and get the ADC/Support role when every queue will have 1-2 of these 2 man teams fighting for the same roles.

There will be 2 man teams who go Mid/Jungle and ADC/Support, Solo will be the odd one out. Better just take whoever and get used to solo lane and the fact NO ONE will gank in your lane, no one will support you, everyone will expect you to rotate, the blue ward is never yours any more since the 2 teams of 2 players will "need it more than you because you should have taken someone who is tankier and needs less mana".

Get ready for the shit storm to come for anyone who goes solo. And if there are too many 2 man teams, forget it, the queues will be worse.

He's a lot more viable but I wouldn't say he is competitively. His lack of CC and an evasive ability really hurt him. However, with the new attack speed buff, he will bully most ADCs early-game.

IMO the last one was great and clean enough, now it seems to be a mess.

And for all these items changes...
- farewell Witch Blade, now you're useless (the move speed combined with defense was the only interesting thing of this item)
- shoes of focus... aren't going to be focused anymore... well now gotta trade damage for cdr...
- Aegis / Beads... joining others for Loki being op to this, and probably other flaws due to that nerf...

This season 2 hasn't the best start we could dream about...

Let's talk about Hercules too. Honestly, atm, he's far too strong. Sure he needs maybe a kill or two to start up well in the early to late-game transition, but he's just so...strong still. His damage (to me) hasn't been so much of a problem, but the real problem is that heal and base stats, which STILL makes him harder to kill than a guardian. I've been in calls where we say "Let's all gank Herc". We needed a entire team to completely secure a kill on a god who probably only has two defensive items anyway. Overall he isn't exactly broken or OP, but he's very annoying, strong, and doesn't truly fit the warrior role.

Edited out the Loki part because I looked at Aegis Pendant, not Greater Aegis (I'm retarded).
