I have been having a problem with the ordering of my skills. If there are more than one good skill I can never decide which ones to level first and there are a few other faces when I don't know what to level first. So I would appreciate it if someone could give a list of what skills to level when for some of the gods. Particularly Neith, Ymir, and Loki. However, I would appreciate advice on any other gods you may happen to have good knowledge of.

Ymir's 3 is always leveled first pretty much, followed normally by 2, then 1. The 2 does a lot more damage, but the 3's CC time continues to go up, while 2 only gets damage boost instead of slow% increase.

Neith Can go a couple of ways, but always ignore your jump until you're forced to level it completely. Usually it's 1 > 2 > 3 for neith.

Loki has a few ways to build, and you need to use each skill build according to what you're against.

If you're solo, and need a reliable way to clear the lane asap, 2 > 1 > 3, single point into 1, ignore 3 until lvl 6. (2 > 1 > 2 > nothing > 2 + 4 > 3)
If you want max damage, 1 > 3 > 2, single point into 2 (2 > 1 > 3 > 1 > 4)
If you want max DPS with your 1 to run after you ult in, 3 > 1 > 2

Your 1 deals the most damage of your basic abilites. It scales 100%, and does 120/180/240/300/360 vs your 3, which does 60/100/140/180/220 @ 100%.

However, it's usually wiser to 3 > 4 > 1, and run away with your invisibility.



When leveling skills, there's a little trick a lot of players don't use, and that's skipping the 4th level to max your damage at level 5.

To do this, you simply stack 2 points into 1 skill by lvl 3, ignore the skill you can live without, and put the extra point into the 2 stack @ lvl 5. I like to do this on gods like Ares.

My ares skill build is 1 > 3 > 2 > 4. So here's my skill build (1 > 3 > 1 > Nothing > 1 + 4 > 1 > 3 > 1 > 3 > 3 > 3....) I want my 1 maxed out literally ASAP followed up by my 3, and I don't give a rats arse about my 4 + 2 since they're not important to me.

So crunching numbers, here's my damage potential.

Skill build of 1 > 3 > 1 > 2 > 4 : 405 from Chains + 2 ~ 4 basic attacks + 120 + 8% hp damage

Skill build of 1 > 3 > 1 > N > 1+4 : 585 + 2 ~ 4 basic attacks + 120 + 8% HP

You can see a tremendous increase in damage by opting out of boosting my 2. Ares gets 3 hits per chain when you stagger it correctly (the inital hit, the 1 second timer, and the 2 second timer), and you can normally get 1 or 2 basic attacks in between each chain.


You also need to multiply on skills to get true value. For example, lokis 1.

Lokis 1
Damage per Tick:30/45/60/75/90 + 25%
Deals damage ever .5s
Damage Duration: 2s

so, it hits 4 times over 2 seconds. This changes it into 120/180/240/300/360 + 100%, since you multiply everything by 4, since it hits the target 4 times.
